I’ve long admired @mourningdoves for their thriving tattoo practice (and impressive Garfield merchandise collection), so I was thrilled when they shared their dreams of tattooing *themself* and allowed me the opportunity to document it. At Leo’s sprawling studio at @blvck.rosetattoo , they effortlessly added the new piece next to the first one they ever did on skin: the two now intertwined as an inked manifestation of personal evolution. May Leo inspire us all to wear our identities like a badge of honor… or a tattoo across the calf.
