Ever wonder what goes down once the winter season is over?
Well here at #mtsima, every spring we remove every single chair on the line. This is about a 3 day job and it is nothing short of repetitive— after all there is 135 chairs! Why do we do this, you ask? This ensures every chair gets a thorough cleaning and inspection before the next year. Once the line is empty, we’ll inspect and oil the haul rope. You may think the summer season is our chill season but it is absolutely the opposite. And we wouldn’t want it any other way!
🚨🚫Please remember that any and all hill access is strictly prohibited during this time. We will be happy to welcome you all back for hiking 🥾 and disc golf ⛳️ June 22!

The badass Canadian SKi Patrol Yukon Zone! From training and recertification in October to the end of April, the CSP has volunteered 400 days and counting at Mount Sima. 52 members. 150+ assistance to Sima guests.
