Yo dawg I heard you like Escape from Salem. Ahem. As mix engineer, I worked on getting the Charlotte rock band's bedroom recordings release ready.
Props to the band being open to my idea of cutting the 5 minute song down to a radio edit!
My roles:
- Mixing engineer
- Mastering engineer
- Editor
- Bass and backing vocal performance

Now that the new year is here, wait what month is it already?!
Anyway a huge thanks to my active client list from 2025, I couldn't have asked for better people to work with!
@lefty_carmean is a talented Asheville NC singer/songwriter who assembled a talented group of engineers and guest musicians to bring his debut EP to life. In my role as mastering engineer, I had the relatively easy job of making already good sounding mixes sound great.
With the release of this EP I have now officially worked on both music genres: country and western.
My roles:
- Mastering engineer
Additional credits:
- Lefty Carmean: Songwriting, vocal and acoustic guitar performance
- Dylan Shrader: Production, tracking engineer, lead guitar
- Andy Bishop: Mixing engineer, additional tracking
- Tim Comstock: Bass performance
- Zach Strum: Drums and vocal performance
- Brad Curtioff: Keyboard performance
- Jackson Dulaney: Lap steel performance
- Elizabeth McCorvey: Fiddle and vocal performance
- Adam Kissel: Vocal performance
- Kaysee Perdue: Album artwork
Another banger by Asheville NC alt rock band @drowningleoavl ! The band tracked live at the studio, and then we overdubbed guitars and vocals. The band brought me on as a producer for this song, and we worked together to trim the fat and give the choruses maximum impact.
The lyrics to this one crystalized after the government sanctioned murders of American citizens Renée Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, so the music is understandably a bit more somber in tone than many of the band's more upbeat pop punk leaning tracks.
My roles:
- Producer
- Tracking engineer
- Mixing engineer
- Mastering engineer
- Editor
- Backing vocal and synth performance
Additional credits:
- Drowning Leo: Songwriting, performance, artwork
You were supposed to get this on 4/20.
I said to hell with it.
My self-titled EP is out now. Four songs that cut through the noise. Front-Porch storytelling, southern rock heartbreak, a hymn for the hopeful, and a mean left hook at what passes for “country” these days.
It’s everywhere you stream music. I’ll be looking for your 0.007¢

@elizabethmccorvey is a talented artist and multi-instrumentalist with a message, and Ain’t Gonna Lay Down is about fighting the good fight.
As she arrived at the session she informed me that her drummer was sick and couldn’t make it, so the obviously I had to fill in on drums! I had a lot of fun collaborating with Elizabeth and her band mates on this track, and got to record a few instruments that fall outside of my typical rock band domain.
My roles:
- Tracking engineer
- Mixing engineer
- Editor
- Drum performance
Additional credits:
- Elizabeth McCorvey: Songwriting, vocals, banjo, violin, artwork
- @lefty_carmean : Guitar
- Tim Comstock: Upright Bass
- @christophercolbert : Mastering engineer
Experimenting with Mid/Side for the first time in a long while. This positioning does a nice job of capturing both the indirect sound of the room and the direct sound of the drums.
