Wheeler Geologic Area is one of our favorite full day adventures to share with YOU! These mind blowing volcanic formations are quite the sight. Additionally, this trip includes incredible mountain views from up to 12,000 feet, a variety of all sorts of fun trails totaling around 75 miles, and a provided hot dog cookout for lunch (so long as there are no fire restrictions). Please message us or email [email protected] to schedule your Wheeler adventure!

I sure love my bride @jessentz ā¤ļøā¤ļø One of the things I love about her is that she’s human. And she makes me laugh. Not sure this is quite as funny to her, but I think you deserve a laugh on this Monday morningšŸ˜Ž Last winter we ran a series of specials through our @mountain_skillz store. Jesse was promoting some women’s gear for Valentine’s Day and the words just weren’t coming together. Of course she eventually nailed it. But enjoy the outtakes along the way!

Just over a week ago I was able to spend a day on the mountain with my daughter @ashleys_entz_22 🩷 Conditions limited our family riding this winter but so darn thankful for this spring storm! Big sis @ellyentz_snow wasn’t able to join us but let Ashley borrow her pride and joy @polarissnow SP 650. Ash had a goal this winter of learning to carve (wants to ride like her older sister). And on this day she absolutely crushed it! One of my most memorable days of the season and already making family riding plans for next winterā„ļøā„ļø As I went to post this, I realized that today is April 13th. Or 4/13. I celebrate this day with my daughter Ashley because her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 and what an incredible verse it is! Happy 4/13 dayšŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ™šŸ» ā€œI can do all this through him who gives me strength.ā€ ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Ever since my daughters were big enough to hold on they have loved going for an ā€˜adventure ride’ with me. Yesterday I decided it would be fun to make the ā€˜adventure ride’ with Ashley on our @polarissnow SP 650. Actually her big sister @ellyentz_snow snowmobilešŸ˜‰Quite the adventure it was! Won’t be long and she’ll be leading the way through the trees. Family time on the mountain is the bestā¤ļø

For years I’ve struggled with which setup is my personal favorite between the @polarissnow Khaos 165 and PRO 155. Both are incredible all-around machines and truthfully you can’t go wrong with either one. I finally designated a day to switch back and forth between the two in the same fun riding areas and choose a favorite. Full video is live on our @mountain_skillz YouTube channel. Hope you enjoy and happy to answer any questions about either setup! Big thanks to @marleneesteven and @cowett78 for their help and the fun on the mountain that dayšŸ™ŒšŸ»

Know how to properly wear your transceiver. Keep in mind electronic devices such as cell phones, cameras, radios, and even battery heated electric gloves can impair your transceiver’s ability to transmit or search. Keep these devices at least 30 cm (12 in) away from your transceiver while traveling in the backcountry. Turn off all electronic devices, including phones, digital cameras, and snowmobiles prior to beginning a search. @mattentzsnow @mountain_skillz _____ #avalanche #avalanchesafety #avalancheeducation #knowbeforeyougo #avalanchealliance

Enter the backcountry with a well thought out plan in hand and use the RIDE SAFELY checklist, shown here and on each page of The Fieldbook, to maintain situational awareness and communicate with your team by asking important questions like: Are we on track? Is anything different than we expected? How best should we manage this terrain? The checklist prompts these important discussions among teammates that will help you decide not only where to go, but also how to go as you travel in avalanche terrain, which is a key to reducing accidents. @mattentzsnow @mountain_skillz @klim @polarissnow ——— #avalanche #avalanchesafety #avalancheeducation #knowbeforeyougo #avalanchealliance

The weather has been silly this ā€˜winter’! We went from full on cold and deeeeep snow to late spring literally overnight. Thank goodness for awesome gear to accommodate it all. Here’s my @klim absolute favorite warm weather setupšŸ˜Ž
