Some gear that we’ve repaired as of late. Thank you to everyone that has challenged us with a repair project since launching — the feedback for our Gear Repair Centre ™ has been incredible and we look forward to servicing your gear time and time again.
It’s a great time to invest in repairing your winter gear for the upcoming season or make sure your weathered summer gear is ready for next year.
A massive thank you to our beloved repair technician, Kaetlin. Kae has gone above and beyond to repair items that were deemed unrepairable and brings a creative arsenal of skills that can make even the ugliest of pieces look beautiful.
Thank you, Kae. @kae.klothing

“River Trees” was painted from life along the Columbia River in Revelstoke. The quiet spot just off the highway attracts beautiful morning light and held my attention over summer and fall as I returned regularly. “River Trees” is one work from the months spent painting there.
As my first venture into clothing, I am excited to say a select number of tees are now available at @mountain.archives and online via their website.

In honour of hosting @arcteryx for @naturalselectionsnow at @mountain.archives I created upcycled Arc’teryx pieces inspired by the natural elements earth, wind, water and fire. I am so incredibly grateful for the experience and privileged to meet such amazing people.

Some of the most memorable meals are served at home in a welcoming, familiar, and trustworthy environment. No frills — made with love.
Foraging Selection, a five-course dinner, was originally destined to be hosted at Mountain Archives ™ but took a last minute pivot to Arnoul’s house. Not all events book up in the small business world, and while we had to make the collective and difficult decision to pivot to a home-based setting, we genuinely think this elevated the evening for all who were able to attend.
Incredibly thoughtful dishes with intentionally foraged and sourced ingredients, prepared at home by Chef Arnoul and his team amongst friends and friends of friends — the best place to be last Wednesday night.
The hum of energetic conversation mixed with the clinging of natty wine glasses and foreshadowing scents coming through the kitchen into the dining area.
Not enough chairs for everyone, but metaphorical seats for all around the tables.
Thank you, Arnoul and team, for welcoming us all into your home for a beautiful evening of culinary discovery.

« This menu is inspired by the forests, fields, farms that surround us. Built around seasonal ingredients and thoughtful sourcing, each dish highlights products that are local, organic, pasture-raised, or foraged from the nearby landscape.
The cooking is rooted in a modern bistro approach—refined but inspired by traditional homestyle recipes. It is a small reflection of this place and season, where wild flavours, careful farming, and simple technique come together at the table. »
As we continue to move with intent through 2026, we are pleased to present our highest quality new garments yet. Beyond the design, building lasting relationships with a domestic cut and sew studio was crucial – a seemingly impossible task that has taken years to cultivate.
The result is a high quality garment that you will reach for time and time again, one that is built with responsibility in mind. While it comes to no surprise that the price point has moved up with domestic production, you can rest assured that this is not the result of corporate greed, but rather the price of a more responsible sourcing practice.
We thank you for your understanding during this experimental shift.

We would love to know more about Sandy, the original owner of this 2000s L.L. Bean Smokey Bear Crew fleece. If this garment could speak, it would have decades of unpredictable stories to pass down to Abby, its current owner.
The ‘Smokey Bear’ character was inspired in part by a real orphaned black bear cub rescued from a 1950 wildfire in New Mexico, who became a living symbol housed at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Over the decades, Smokey evolved into an icon of wildfire prevention and conservation, appearing on posters, pins, ranger programs, and outdoor gear across North America.
