Beyond what the eye can see’’ is the story of a personal, inner journey, illustrating a quest begun long ago to define or redefine one’s identity, independent of time and space. This quest transcends the past and all that it contains, the present and all that it contains, as well as the future and all that it contains, taking into account everything that may have distorted the essence of a human being and contributed to his or her uniqueness. In this journey, two beings converse: one is the host and the other is the force that inhabits it. Just as two captains cannot steer a ship, it is essential for one to give way to and reconcile with the other. The darkness that surrounds them symbolizes both our scientific ignorance and our untapped inner capacities, while representing a neutral environment where notions of race and class are deliberately abolished. Beyond’’ puts forward the idea of a definition of identities based on deep introspection, independent of the external attributes that serve us as points of comparison and hierarchization. The perspective of a single identity thus eliminates the points of comparison between human beings, making them all equal through the single bond of uniqueness. On a more personal level, « Beyond » offers the opportunity to embark on a journey for those seeking knowledge, inner healing and introspection, as well as for those seeking to discover who they truly wish to be. Work produced during the @duvangu.art artistic residency. @manifestoparis

Series entitled "ESCAPE" which deals with plastic pollution and its impact on our present and future environment. It defines Man as the only link between pollution and the environment, the only actor having the possibility of destroying this environment or building a better future. Here several questions are put on the table, starting with the overproduction and consumption of the capitalist world. The survival of the ecosystem which depends on our actions, and our dependence on this ecosystem to live. @moukadi as part of the special showcase „BLACK ART MATTERS: FEMALE THRESHOLDS“ as curated by @joshamissah “To step across a threshold is to enter an indeterminate space—neither departure nor arrival, but the in-between. In this intervention, five selected artists explore identity, memory, and transformation, navigating the fractures and fluidities of Black female existence. Through photography and sculpture, they chart new cartographies of selfhood. Nyangone Tshimanga dissolves linear time in an intimate search for self-definition. Binta Kopp examines anonymity and exposure within the urban landscape. Aisha Seriki invokes Yoruba cosmology to reconstruct the self in constant negotiation with destiny. Adriane de Souza confronts masculinity’s silent burdens through an archive of unspoken emotions. Christin Khaukha distills fetishization, power, and vulnerability into sculptural forms. Their works do not merely document but question and expand identity’s perception and performance. “THRESHOLDS” is a passage, a rupture, and a reclamation—urging us to consider what is left behind, what is carried forward, and what is yet to be forged.” photoSCHWEIZ

Love Unleashed : evokes the idea of cultivating love as a positive driving force in our lives. The starting point is self-love, involving the acceptance of our imperfections and qualities. By developing a positive relationship with ourselves, we can love and accept others authentically. The image of the rafia symbolizes growth and creation from this inner love, forming a solid foundation for compassion, generosity and connection with others. By sharing this love, we build relationships and communities based on caring and mutual respect, creating a world where love and acceptance are the foundations of happiness and collective harmony.

1 - The Captain of Love : Is a representation of inner transformation and the liberation of destructive thoughts that hinder the individual. Rather than symbolizing physical death, this image illustrates the destruction of oppressive beliefs that limit our essence and potential. 2- Dying to be born again : This metaphor symbolizes the death of old aspects of self to allow the emergence of a new, authentic and liberated identity. It invites one to explore the depths of the soul and transcend self-imposed limitations to find one’s true essence. The dialogue between the guest and the inner force illustrates the inner accord needed to embrace this process of transformation. It’s a call to a journey of self-knowledge and inner healing, where we discover and revitalize our true identity, independent of outside influences.

NEW interview in Today with Gabonese Visual Artist | Photographer - Naomi Mukadi: "I like to capture the soul of each human that I take a picture of, I am convinced that there is more beyond the flesh, it is a formula between the colors, the poses and the way I capture each model that allows me I hope to have shots that carry the image and the spirit of each person photographed. I want to release the sensitivity behind masculinity or the inner strength of femininity. My will is to make the invisible visible. It is because it is my vision of the world that my work has taken on this meaning." Read the full interview with Moukadi Link in bio
