Meet New Britannia. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ New Britannia is a photographic and videographic project exploring the progression of Northern British society and culture since Thatcher's reign. It explores the working class upbringing, the sacrifices of our families, and endeavours to give those Northern working class families a voice that they did not have in the 80s/90s. Our mothers, fathers, grandparents, biological aunts and uncles and those aunts and uncles who are just your mam's mates - it's time for them to speak.
