🎣 A Largemouth Bass can eat up to 40% of its diet from bluegill alone. That’s not a coincidence. That’s a feeding pattern you can exploit every single time you hit the water.
The Motion Fishing 1/2oz Gill Candy Football Jig + Clutch Craw trailer is built around exactly that. The color profile mimics bluegill so closely, bass don’t think twice. Hand-tied on a 5/0 Mustad hook, built thin enough for deep penetration but strong enough to hold on heavy line when a giant tries to take it from you.
Drag it over points. Crawl it along ledges. Work it through brush. This jig earns its place in the box every trip.
And if you’re serious about your tackle game, we offer bulk pricing so you can stock up and save. The anglers who win tournaments aren’t running one jig. They’re running multiples in rotation.
Comment “BULK” below and we’ll DM you our discounted bundle options. 👇🏼

Offshore bass are eating right now and this is the exact setup doing damage.
Three quarter ounce Gill Candy football jig. Clutch Craw SR on the back. Hard bottom, points, ledges. Drag it slow, let it roll, and hold on when it loads up.
The color matches what’s already living on the bottom. The weight gets it there fast. The craw does the rest.
This combo is available now in our shop and online. Limited stock on the Gill Candy so don’t sleep on it.

Can definitely say the @motionfishing Tungsten Tank jig lives up to the name. When the pressure is on, that small presentation is an easy meal for those big fish. #catchmofish
Stop rigging crooked trailers. Here’s the fix.
Pull your skirt back and look at the top of the jig hook. Find exactly where the point needs to exit the plastic before you ever thread it on. Make that visual mark first, then rig it. That one step alone eliminates 90 percent of crooked trailers.
If you still end up slightly off, don’t re-rig it. Place your index and middle fingers on both sides of the bait, thumb on the back, and push forward with your thumb. The plastic straightens right out.
Straight trailer means straight action. Straight action means more bites. It takes three extra seconds and it matters more than most people think.
Save this one. You’ll use it every time you tie on a jig.

The most efficient guy flipping is usually the guy who’s going to end up on top. When I’m talking efficiency I’m talking about a ton of different areas.
1. Getting your bait in and out of the bush.
2. Getting the fish out of the bush and into the boat.
3. Covering water and finding productive bushes.
4. Making good flips that maximize all of these.
Its not a simple math problem but I’ve always felt good about flipping because I feel like I’m more efficient than most. Next time you are faced with flooded water try to focus on being efficient and covering water and watch how many more fish you catch.
It also doesn’t hurt to have the right setup and that new @motionfishing Tungsten Tank Jig and that @pridefishingrods 7’3”XH make the job easier for me. 🎣
Flipping season. Two baits. One question.
When you’re punching into shallow cover this spring, the jig and the plastic both have a case to be made.
The jig gets bit differently. More commitment, bigger profile, better hookup ratio in heavy cover. When bass are on beds or stacked in wood, a jig lands with authority and stays put.
The plastic is sneaky. Lighter, quieter entry, more finesse. Sometimes that subtle fall is exactly what triggers a fish that has seen everything.
Both are proven. Both are in our lineup. The real answer depends on your water, your cover, and what the fish are telling you that day.

Same swim jig. Two completely different baits depending on what you put on the back.
Trailer one: a craw. More action, more water displacement, keeps the bait riding higher in the water column. Fish this when bass are aggressive, water is stained, or you want them to find it fast.
Trailer two: a swimbait. Cleaner, more natural profile. The bait sinks lower and swims more true. Fish this when the water is clearer, pressure is high, or you want to match a shad or bluegill profile tight to the bottom.
Same retrieve. Same jig. Completely different result. Knowing when to make the switch is what separates a good day from a great one.
Drop a comment telling us which trailer you throw and why. We read every one.

It’s a damn shame…
Who else is wishing they were fishin? 🎣 🙋🏼‍♂️

That bite didn’t come from working the bait fast. 🎣
58 degree water. Spring jig. Crawling it barely on the botttom, longer pauses, letting it sit. Bass focused on the spawn aren’t chasing, they’re reacting. The second you slow down and commit to that dead stick pause is when they eat.
This is the pattern right now. Stop moving so fast, let it chill.

Nature doesn’t lie. We just pay attention.
That bottom photo is a real crawfish pulled from the same water we fish. The top is our jig sitting next to it. When the color match is that close, bass don’t get a choice.
Comment “CRAW” and we’ll tell you exactly which jig color to throw for your water this time of year.
