“There is something uniquely intimate about dancers watching other dancers onstage. It creates a subtle but palpable bond between performers and audience, reminding us that we are participants in this shared, multi-layered act of storytelling. Rather than following a linear narrative, Flomin envelops the audience in feeling.” -Cecly Placenti Read our latest review of @oriflo “Settle In” presented @lamamatheatre Link in bio Photo: Charlotte Pico #contemporarydance #danceinnyc #lamamamovesdancefestival

“… Intra(flux) presents a different view, answering the question: what if choreography gave the audience a peek behind the curtain and told the story of its conception?” - Lilliana Miller Photo @joseph.heitman Link in bio to full review

“Just Keep Waiting often splits the wide stage into scenes of varied yet complementary action, creating a sophisticated cinematic effect…A sense of both momentum and stagnation, of wish versus reality, undercuts the evening, illuminating its themes subtly and effectively.” - Cecly Placenti Read our latest review of @saraikamovementcollective latest collaborative piece “Just Keep Waiting” Link in bio Photo: @becca.vision #contemporarydance #internationalcollaboration #universitysettlement

“The relentlessness of AWE flirts with visual overload, but Klein’s compositional control keeps the work from tipping into excess, grounding its frenzy in intention rather than spectacle.” -Cecly Placenti Read our review of @inclineddp latest piece “Alone With Everyone.” Link in bio #inclineddanceproject #contemporarydance #paultaylordancestudio

“I felt the full impact of Obremski’s interdisciplinary approach – how movement, music, lighting, and costume design merge to create a vivid, immersive world. The dancing carries a striking vibrancy, textured with spontaneous shifts between ensemble patterns and intimate individual moments.” From our latest review of @obremski_works “Colortura US” by writer @kristen.hedberg Link in bio for full review #contemporarydance #obremskiworks #culturablic #thoughtsondance

Motion in Monday is back and brought to you by the incredible fierce & talented @cali_poole “When I dance, my goal is always to make myself or my audience feel something. The expression that dance provides me has not always been positive or healing, but more importantly it always makes me feel alive,” says Cali. “It has taught me so much about who I am and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.” Thank you for sharing your artistry and movement with @motionbydegrees #motionbydegrees #artistsinmotion #nycdancecommunity #dancenyc #contemporarydance #improvisation #mbd #movers #artistspotlight #thespotlightsessions #freelancartists #movementspeaks #artistsmatter #femaleartists #dancechoreography #danceonfilm
