Some early experiments for a project that uses Photoresistors to translate movement into sound.
The shadows created by various motorised sculptures are used to influence the sonic behaviour of homemade oscillators. The light then becomes a vehicle for the exploration of space and the interaction between sculpture and sound.

This Saturday 20 September, the Star & Shadow presents Tom’s House – an immersive one-person audio drama blending voice, live foley, field recordings and a striking original score by K. Freund, Kareem Lotfy, Jacob Oostra and Zuza Banasińska.
The work traces a return to the UK after 15 years, stepping into a friend’s empty cottage and confronting themes of intimacy, memory and loss.
Created by Amsterdam-based artist Jacob Dwyer – whose projects have appeared at Café OTO, David Dale Gallery and De Appel – Tom’s House is also his latest audio release on South of North @jacobdwyer106 .
With live support sets from EVATHENA, Mothlight and Kersegennom Twist @evathena_luna@ollyzacd2@bnasounds
Saturday 20 September – 7pm
