Strangest thrift store chain of events I’ve ever had… I walked into the Pasadena Salvation Army store in February and immediately spotted a vase whose shape I was familiar with as a piece by
@victoriamorrispottery but something was a little off. It was only bisque fired (which I never see at the thrift) and it was unsigned. I took it home and DM’d Victoria to see if my hunch was correct, turns out it was.
I was ready to get it back into her hands but then she jokingly called out for a collab so I took it to the studio I work out of and glazed it (intentionally in a warm matte glaze so it stood apart from her cooler tones).
I can’t imagine something like this ever happening again by pure chance. Thanks for being so cool Victoria, it’s now my favorite vase.
