I love how On Broken Wings have attached a “mosh metal” label to themselves. Amongst many of their iconic designs that emphasize the MOSH, this one’s probably my favorite. They are the heart and soul of violent pit music, period. Outside of the endlessly imaginative breakdown content this group has to offer, I gotta give flowers to Jonathan Blake for being one of the most unhinged and talented vocalists of modern heavy music, especially live. With the band yet to perform in Europe this decade, I’m starting to doubt that I’ll ever get a chance to hop into one of these circles, but I’d surely love to.
