We have some exciting news to tell you. Our new album entitled "Rumour of a Funeral" will be released on July 11th! It will be available on both CD and cassette formats via #remorselessrecords and we'll also have a limited amount to sell via our Bandcamp page. The digital format of the album will be available here and on other popular music streaming platforms. On June 1st, we'll upload the first Mosara recordings from 2005 that have been recently remastered. These will be free to download! We'll have a new shirt design available soon in our merch section and we'll be adding "Rumour of a Funeral" CD and cassette pre-order links soon! Hello friends, In the time that has passed since Jarrod’s passing, it has been an emotional journey for so many of us - friends, family, and bandmates in the local community here in Phoenix and beyond. TwinGiant wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shared their memories and condolences with us. With his spirit and memory in our hearts, we have decided to organize a benefit/memorial show in his honor. Our friends in the local bands Sorrower, Mosara, and Bright Sunshine — all of whom were friends with Jarrod as well — have teamed up with us to make this event happen and will be performing. As for us, we have decided to reunite for a performance featuring former members who have contributed to the band’s music over the years. We will play some songs instrumentally, while others will feature guest vocalists. A DJ will also be spinning vinyl records throughout the event, showcasing music that Jarrod loved and was inspired by. There will be commemorative merchandise - including T-shirts - made specifically for this occasion, and we will also have a raffle with fun prizes. We will also be selling any and all remaining TwinGiant merchandise, to include vinyl, at very discounted prices with the proceeds going directly to the family as well. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Jarrod’s family. This event will be held on Saturday, December 12th at a location to be revealed at a later time. There will be a $10 cover charge. We want to make this event something Jarrod himself would have loved. Please join us in celebrating his life and legacy as we honor him through music and stories of remembrance. Stay tuned and follow us - along with the other bands - for further updates. @mosaraband is a sludge/doom metal band from Phoenix, Arizona. Now as a trio, Mosara consists of Tony Gallegos (guitar, vocals), Chris Burns (bass) and John Quin (drums). Originally founded in 2005, Mosara was reborn and rebuilt in 2019 with founder and original member, Tony Gallegos. They released their first official self-titled album, »Mosara« in 2021. In 2022, their sophomore effort, »Only The Dead Know Our Secrets« was released, receiving high praise from several prominent heavy music blogs for its progressive and haunting doom melodies. Mosara released the single track »Amena« in 2023 before hunkering down to write their most involved and evolved work to date, »Rumour Of A Funeral«. Mosara's new full-length album »Rumour Of A Funeral« was just released on July 11th, 2025 via @remorseless_records . Available now on CD, cassette and digital.
