So last year at the Slayer show I saw Cavalera and figured well, may as well catch Sepultura's final run. I might not be the biggest fan of post-Cavelera brothers-Sepultura, but the combo of Exodus, Biohazard, and Tribal Gaze really sweetened the deal. This was a heck of a send off tour! It was great to see Exodus again up close. Man, Gary and Lee really tear it up. Biohazard and Tribal Gaze were awesome...they're both definitely bands I'd see again. And I'm glad I came out and saw Sepultura on this farewell tour, they had some great albums! And Andres was shredding guitar on just about all of them.

What a fun night! Met Marco down in Holly Springs for some Vertical Horizon. Mom had the 1999 Everything You Want album, and I listened to that sooooo much. What a cool experience to see them. Matt even played a song from the first acoustic album from 1992!

Architects and Holywatr at The Ritz. I love watching bands grow and evolve over the years, and sometimes, like a lot of bands these days, they go in a direction that's less for me. Architects with this 2025 album hit the sweet spot. What a show. Keep it up, guys! First time seeing them, and I definitely would again. Also, as a man of my age, you gotta appreciate a two-band over-by-10:15 show. I love discovering new bands as openers, but man that was nice πŸ˜…

I have seen Bleed From Within (Scotland) three previous times, but I had to catch their first North American headline tour! These guys are a powerhouse live. Hope they keep coming back! England's Sylosis was great! It also was crazy that Bleed and Sylosis used the same drummer. I've seen bands share members, but it's not usually the two main ones with no break in betweenπŸ˜… what a beast! Opening the show, we had Boston's Great American Ghost and Life Cycles from Texas. Great day in Greensboro β€” I'll be back next Tuesday for more. May/June are shaping up to be busy concert months

Uada was epic. They played their 2016 debut album Devoid of Light and then brought up Wraith Knight on keys to play a special set of Ceremonial Castings songs. Black metal at its finest. I do love a good mixed-genre show as we also had Mortiis from Norway on some dungeon synth metal, a fantastic solo set by Rome (from Luxembourg) doing some neofolk, and an instrumental synth set from Wraith Knight to open. I got to chat with Nick (Wraith Knight) and Jerome (Rome) a bit at the merch tables too! Very fun night!

What a beautiful night for a show. Won a pair of tickets to Willie Nelson and Family at Koka Booth. It was amazing to see such a legend after all this time. He turns 93 in just two days on the 29th! I was bummed when I missed him at Outlaw Fest when I went in 2024 (he was sick for a couple days and sat out Raleigh) so this ended up being a perfect opportunity. Drayton Farley opened the evening with a fantastic set.

Surprise concert with @richuuurdsp58 Bringing it back to '06-'09 for real with my college roomie!!! It was great to catch up, and it better not be so long next time!! Album playthrough shows are always so special and what monsters these are... starting off with 2009's Love Drunk, which may not have as many "hits" but was an amazing album to see live. The 2006 self-titled album, though 🀌 Soooo glad I came to this show I enjoyed Arrows In Action opening as well! Very energetic set.

Great evening for a show!!! Sanguisugabogg is so much fun Fit for an Autopsy was every bit as good as I knew they would be. I don't think Kublai Khan can be anything but a good time. Second time seeing them. Exciting to see Lamb of God again as well! I forgot how close this Red Hat pit was. You can hear in my clips how ridiculous the Kublai Khan 808s were πŸ˜… I felt the bass/bass drum all night for sure.

Went out to see The Devil Wears Prada tonight (for the 12th time, which breaks the tie and puts them ahead of August Burns Red currently). It's been an interesting journey since seeing them for the first time in 2014 and being a fan for a few years before that even. I may not always like an album, but hey, as long as they still bring it live, I'm sure I'll be there 🀘 Interesting lineup for this tour with I Promised the World, Split Chain, and Four Year Strong. I did not know much about any of them beforehand, but they all put on a great show.

Went with @erinbennpenn to see Amelia Moore and Zara Larsson tonight! After meeting up at the lovely J. Betski's, of course. This one surprised me for sure. I was not expecting Zara to have a band with a synth player. A lot less of that was in a track than I expected...and that girl can sing! Very fun show overall, glad I got to accompany a friend
