MORPH — explained. I first wrote Morph down on a piece of paper while on a plane almost a year ago. Since then the concepts have shifted and messaging transformed and as evolution likes to remind us — good things take time, willingness to learn from our mistakes, and a little bit of trial and error. 🤪 I am so excited for how my story might intertwine with yours. Whether that’s a project collab or just following along on good ol’ IG! Thanks for being a part of it all ❤️‍🔥 #copywriterslife #brandstorytelling #brandstory #rebranding #morph

Sorry @heykaitc can’t come to the phone right now… Why? Oh ‘cause she’s dead. ☠️😵🫣🤭🤪🤩🥳 Y’allllll don’t worry!! From her ashes rose something I’m so so proud of. And here it goes. The rebrand. The good ol switcharoo. The new chapter. One final moment for our girl HeyKaitC. We love her for starting us on this crazy ass journey, yeah? She brought me this life, she brought me all of you. But Morph Copy House? It’s a step into a new phase. Get excited, I think you’ll like it here. ❤️‍🔥 #copywritersofinstagram #brandmessaging #websitecopywriter #buildingabrand

It took us about 3 calls to throw the “package” we created for The Wholehearted Brand right outta the window 😂 Because every business owner came to us with different worries, different business models, different experiences with outsourcing, different goals and needs to get there.  And that’s when we realized what you need most:   Guidance. Decisions to be made. Brand consulting. Personalized planning. Validation. All before you could make a decision whether to hire us or not.  And ya know what? WE LOVE IT. 💖 No, like we eat up every chance to give our two cents, steer you in the right direction, show you alllll of the options you have out there.  In a furious voice note chat this weekend, @savinastudios and I gushed over the fact that we are getting the chance to make a REAL difference in locally-owned, independently founded businesses — all by just sharing the info in our brains?!  And then we get to create a custom package for exactly what they need?!  We’re having the most fun we’ve ever have, doing work we love the most.  So bring your not-so-silly worries, ask us a million questions, tell us your wildest goals. We’ll happily guide you through every tool in our wheelhouse & how we can help :)

The Wholehearted Brand is currently loading for 👀 → a hair salon
→ a home renovation contractor  → a wedding venue → a podcast  All independently owned or local businesses. All gloriously cool in their own ways. All hell-bent on making 2026 the year their website finally starts doing its job.  Most of them are coming from DIY sites & pieced together messaging (we’ve even got a ChatGPT logo to banish — @savinastudios is on it) And no shame in that, we’re big believers that you’ve gotta start somewhere!!!  BUT The Wholehearted Brand was created to help you grow *beyond* your beginning.  It’s the step up. The next phase. The big move needed to reach big ol’ goals.  If you started this year in the “in-between” but are plotting & scheming your way out, copy x design just might be the combo you need to break free <3  One spot left for Q1 —  DM me, spill your guts (and goals), and let’s see if we’re a match <3

The people I work with seem to have a few things in common: They’re deeply human.
They’re insanely brilliant. And they’re chronically humble about all of it. They run their entire business on pure stubborn-as-hell grit, fueled by a passion for what they do, a problem they want to solve, or a lifestyle they crave to create.  And usually, finding the right words to explain, stand-out, convince, and sell leaves them feeling a little…icky. If not icky, remarkably overwhelmed or flat out stumped. Because writing the words that sell what they do doesn’t come naturally. Sometimes, they even love to write. But they’re too damn close to the work to be able to do it. And they always, always want copy that is both sincere and strategic because, well, they know it’s how they’ll sell their shit. So, I’m out here extracting their missions, pouring it into their messaging, and shaping it into nail-on-the-head website copy that lets browsers feel their big ambitions, trust they’re out to prove themselves, and become believers in everything they put their names on. That’s MY hell-bent mission <3 Think you’ll fit right in with the people I work with? (it’s ok, you CAN call yourself brilliant lol) Go snoop my services & submit an inquiry form. Let’s talk copy!! Somehow I’m still missing so many places: My bff’s balcony in OKC, Austria, my grandma’s kitchen table, Belize, the Netherlands, Latvia (jk that one is in the cover photo!) But the list goes on. 🥹 I can’t even begin to describe how lucky I’ve been to write the words for your websites all over the world. 5 years in and I’m still shook over it!!!! I can’t wait to see what the next 5 years brings. A big ol’ THANK YOU to every business, founder, or team who has trusted me with their websites, sales pages, SEO, email funnels, blogs, and more. You’re making my dreams come true, y’all and I APPRECIATE YOU ENDLESSLY! Even if you haven’t hired me but you’ve been here since the @heykaitc days and tuned in to all of my shenanigans along the way, ILY TOO! My nomad days might be over, but my fingers are still tap, tap, tapping away in a cafe corner somewhere. Okay, off to go write some more websites. Currently writing from: 📍my desk in my HOME in Lisbon

Heavy story-centered world-building isn’t for every business. I agree!
But for the right fit, it can make your customer, guest, or buyer feel totally infatuated with you before they ever reach out or show up. Yasawa needed emotive, atmospheric language because their brand is cultural, sacred, slow, and deeply human. But world-building doesn’t *always* sound like that. I also wrote: “your go-to getaway for better skin” for a medspa whose world is cozy, never clinical. Curated playlists, warm lighting, modern treatment rooms. Sure, we were selling facials. But through the lens of a getaway or retreat.

And I also wrote: “Sure, we’ve got pipin’ hot coffee and lightning-quick WiFi, but that’s not why people love it here.” for a coworking space rooted in Midwestern hospitality.
Their world is friendly, familiar, communal (the exact opposite of corporate). Desk spaces were the offer, but a community where everyone belongs was their world. Your brand ALREADY has a world.

My job is to make sure people enter it & feel called to stay awhile. — client: @yasawaislandresort branding & website design: @ethosandbloom photography: @anastasiachomlack

A post with satin bows and wrapped presents before we wrap up spooky season? Jump scare I know! But this one was too important to keep in the drafts. ❤️ There will be a mix of local food banks, shelters, soup kitchens, and I’m looking into direct donations to local schools to help cover cost of lost aid in nutrition programs. (I am but one human with an idea so bear with me haha) I will be choosing a variety of organizations (hopefully with enough donations to go around) and I’ll try to keep an eye on any updates on specific need! Let me know if you want to see a list of organizations I’m using, maybe that will spark ideas for those in need in your corner of the world, too! Feel free to add suggestions, steal the idea, share your thoughts! Wanted to get this post up and pinned, as Nov 1 is creeping up on us and lost aid is a huge concern for so many. Hoping both bellies & hearts can be full this season! THANKS FOR READING!

Don’t tell me you care about SEO if ya don’t 🤪 Because if you do care about ranking higher on Google, it means you’ve gotta trust the strategy. Keywords (just one part of SEO strategy overall, but a big part when it comes to copy specifically) are intentionally selected based on things like: High volume (lots of people using that keyword) Low competition (the better chance you have of ranking) User intent (what is the content / answer they are looking for when they type in a search And strategically placed in: Metadata & title tags URLs Links And yes…in the headlines & body copy of your site! But I’m nearly blue in the face from fighting to keep keywords where they need to be. 😅 Trust me, I KNOW you want your site to be full of your personality and convey a feeling through copy. But if you are more worried about your home page headline being your cutie tag line than about it including your focus keyword….. SEO isn’t a priority!! And if it really isn’t a priority, that’s ok. (Though a missed opportunity if you ask me!) The truth?? Your site can have BOTH when done well. But for both to work, you’ve gotta let each do their job. And it’s my job to tell you the ‘why’ behind the choices I make, so that you can make the best, informed decisions when it comes time to hit publish. Promise me you won’t spend thousands of dollars on professional copy just to ignore what is best for your business???? PROMISE?! NO REALLY, TELL ME YOU PINKY PROMISE!

If your degree has nothing to do with what you’re doing now, but everything to do with *how* you do it… I’m in good company :)

Settling down after my roaming gnome era has given me a bit of an identity crisis 🙃 Travel became a huge part of what people associated with my brand and it felt like when I stopped moving, I had a lot less to say. But I dusted off Ohio’s keepsake to remind me that I am still (and always will be) *that girl* and picked up Portugal’s souvenir right around the time I signed a lease for the first time in YEARS.
(scroll through to understand these references lol) And I realized that my years of full-time travel have become a collection of unique experiences, a never-ending pit of stories, a source of inspiration for my brand ALWAYS. Even if those days are over, even if that’s not who I am anymore.

Morph is still Morph—regardless of my *bigger picture* in life evolving. So I took a lil’ jaunt down memory lane, spent WAY too many hours looking at my camera roll, reflecting about my travels and their through line to my work (aka why they’re worth sharing with YOU) ET VOILÀ! ENJOY! <3
