Cuadra-Soft Edge takes shape through everyday use, where it ceases to be a static object and becomes a lived space, capable of accommodating different postures, informal moments, and spontaneous gestures. It does not impose a way of use, but welcomes it and allows it to unfold, becoming an open environment where daily life settles in a natural and unprogrammed way. Its softness is not only perceived but inhabited: Cuadra-Soft Edge becomes a silent device of comfort, where the project is completed only through the presence of people and their imperfect, real gestures. With Patricia Urquiola and Moroso, softness becomes the starting point of a new domestic language, where Cuadra-Soft Edge is experienced as a continuous form of comfort, responding to a deeper need for calm, closeness and reassurance. Moroso renews its role as Official Supplier at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, returning to the Foro Italico with Alfabeti, the exhibition project curated by @GiorgioGalotti and @ClaudiaPignatale . Alfabeti builds a pathway where artworks, architecture and furnishings intertwine within the spaces of the Foro Italico, shaping their reading through a sequence of environments and relationships. Within this context, Moroso’s contribution is integrated as part of the exhibition system, accompanying visitors along the route. The collections are placed throughout the spaces with different design languages: from the materiality of Pebble Rubble by Front Design, to seating systems such as Gruuve by Patricia Urquiola, One Page by Ron Arad, Josephine by Gordon Guillaumier, and up to Pacific, Rift and other iconic pieces from the brand. Distinct elements that build a continuous and recognisable presence. SAVE THE DATE Internazionali BNL d’Italia – Foro Italico, Rome 5–17 May 2026 Ph: @SerenaEller #Moroso #TheBeautyOfDesign #M

Our digital space is renewed. As with furnishing projects, our website is reimagined — not as a simple visual update, but as a redefinition of balance, rhythm, and perception. A new interface designed to guide the gaze and welcome you in. At a moment when design returns to the center of the scene, the narrative takes on a new form. Here, too, not a container, but an environment to move through. @helloensoul #Moroso #TheBeautyOfDesign #MadeinItaly

Our agenda moves across cities, projects, and different contexts, bringing the Moroso language to the key appointments of contemporary design. Follow us at our upcoming events. NYCxDesign Week 2026 – New York Moroso will be in New York with a multi-venue program spanning the “Shaping Soft Spaces” installation at the Madison Avenue Moroso Flagship Store, @icff_official , and the exhibition “Design: The Theater of Excellence” by @internimagazine . A collective narrative of Made in Italy that brings together material research, brand icons, and new visions of contemporary living, reaffirming design as a cultural practice. Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 – London At the Moroso London Flagship Store, “Play With Fire” takes shape, an installation by @ZanellatoBortotto . An immersive environment where matter, fire, and craftsmanship become a design language, giving life to a sensorial narrative that blends experimentation and savoir-faire. The Mangiafuoco and Clay collections engage in dialogue with the brand’s icons and new pieces, within a sculptural and domestic landscape. THE LUXURY EDIT – London Within THE LUXURY EDIT at Haberdashers’ Hall, Moroso presents Me-Time by Garcia Cumini. A sofa conceived as an intimate island of comfort, where soft volumes and generous proportions define a space dedicated to relaxation and conviviality, expressing a contemporary idea of luxury rooted in comfort and material sensibility. #Moroso #TheBeautyOfDesign #MadeinItaly #DesignEvents

In Geometriae, light can be understood as a true system of writing: it does not describe form from the outside, but passes through it and rewrites it from within. It is not a neutral element that reveals the object, but an active presence that helps construct the very structure of the image. Shadow is no longer a secondary effect of matter, nor a simple consequence of light in space, but something already embedded in the design itself. It is conceived together with the form, drawn and then translated into the textile as an integral part of the surface. In this way, light and shadow no longer belong only to external observation, but become internal components of form itself: a visual grammar that does not merely represent volume, but continuously generates it as an image in flux. Geometry as a form of thought before it becomes a system of measurement. Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist (@frontdesign ) explore elementary geometric forms as both visual and sculptural language: spheres, cubes and cylinders are combined and transformed into essential, archetypal volumes. The design process begins with hand drawing and is translated into jacquard textile surfaces, where light and shadow are not merely environmental effects, but a constitutive part of the form itself. The project unfolds between drawing, object and image, opening a reflection on the role of representation in contemporary design. As Platone suggests in the Filebo, certain forms possess an intrinsic and absolute beauty, independent from the imitation of reality. Geometriæ originates from this reflection, using geometry not to affirm stability and order, but to question the way we perceive space and interpret what we see. Cubes, cylinders and spheres become not only constructive elements, but visual archetypes capable of generating emotion, tension and perceptual ambiguity. Each piece in the collection begins as a pictorial study: @frontdesign works with pencil and watercolor to create shadows, depth and tonal variations through a sensitive, hand-crafted approach. These drawings are then translated into jacquard tapestries that wrap the upholstered volumes, transferring onto the surface of the object a light that does not belong to the surrounding space, but is already embedded within the textile itself. Cuadra-Soft Edge represents the most evolved expression of the research developed by @Patricia_Urquiola and Moroso around the idea of comfort as a spatial and sensorial language. The defining innovation of the Edge version lies in the reinterpretation of the piping detail, which evolves into a soft tactile fringe that redefines the relationship between form and perimeter. Through this gesture, the outline is no longer perceived as a rigid and clearly defined boundary, but as a fluid transition that accompanies the volume and enhances its sense of softness. The fringe softens the visual impact of the structure, reducing the geometric rigidity of the composition and creating a more welcoming and continuous presence. During Milan Design Week, Geometriæ at @colombosgallery explored seating as a perceptual experience rather than a purely functional object. This project by @frontdesign developed a visual language in which form originates on paper — sketches, watercolors, studies of light and shadow — before taking physical shape in space. This transition is not only technical but conceptual: what begins as a two-dimensional trace retains a painterly memory even once it becomes an object. Even the shadow was not treated as an external effect, but as something already embedded within the material itself. Within this framework, geometry never defines a fixed point. It remains unstable, operating as a structure that shifts according to viewpoint and movement. The forms reveal themselves differently as one moves through the space, making perception an integral part of the project. This year, Me-Time by @garciacumini continues to evolve its idea of contemporary comfort, where design is never static but constantly opens up new ways of inhabiting space. The system expands with a new curved corner element, which is not just a compositional addition but a true design gesture: it opens the sofa to even more fluid and enveloping configurations, where geometries soften and space takes on a new rhythm. More natural, more continuous. Alongside this evolution, the new chaise longue enters the collection as an element designed to amplify the sense of comfort and compositional freedom. Generous in scale and welcoming in use, it invites an even more relaxed and immersive way of experiencing the sofa. This development reinforces the idea of free, uninterrupted living, where the seating elements connect as a single domestic landscape. Lines extend, directions dissolve, and the system becomes even more capable of adapting to the way life is truly lived: in motion, yet always within a sense of deep, welcoming comfort. #Moroso #TheBeautyOfDesign #MadeinItaly #MDW26 #DesignInteriors
