28 could easily be considered the worst year of my life.
Realistically, every year is a good year. If I was to focus solely on the negative then I would have lost myself.
It was a year of failed relationships and some financial difficulties. What’s more important is the great number of people that I have met this year, the good fortune to financially recover, to make good on my promises, to begin new endeavours, to near closer to a publishing deal, to be offered opportunity to thrive in a new city hundreds of kilometres from Toronto… 28 was the year that grew my roots deep enough to allow 29 to rise towards the stars in the night sky. So when you see black glow in the dark, you’ll know that it’s me.
The year dedicated to personal growth is over and the year of multiple successes is upon me.
When you strive for something, everything unlike it will reveal itself. Keep going and you will find fortunes beyond your desires.
