These images both involved a degree of faith in the process, particularly since we had to wait until dusk to see if they'd work, leaving very little time for experimentation as the light was fading. The sensation of floating over the water under the warm ceiling light was incredible, and it felt important to translate that into photographs. We may have opted for fewer traditional dusk shots, but I think these two images captured the unique atmosphere of the place, and they're now among my favourites from last year.
