This special evening features a performance by Rina Treml (
@tremlrina ) & Franz Josef Hofer (
@fjhofer ), with costumes created in a unique collaboration between moritzLoves (
@moritzloves ) & eios elis (
@eioselis ).
In this performance, the boundary between materiality and the immaterial becomes a field of playful research. By transforming archetypal garments into technical, hybrid sculptures, we create "soft tensions" between the body and its shell.
These silhouettes are designed to break visual habits and open a metalevel for critical reflection, while the performers submerge themselves in the fabric, navigating the space between intimacy, distance, and the personal / political weight inherent in textiles.
Ultimately, this project is a profound encounter: a dialogue between performing and sculptural textile artists, body and costume, material, emotion and movment.
