Slagwerker Konstantyn Napolov noemt Orkest De Ereprijs in zijn playlist bij New Music Now: een mooie verwijzing naar waar Master & Servant van componist Moritz Eggert zijn eerste leven kreeg. Het werk begon bij ons als versie voor ensemble en solist en groeide van daaruit verder de wereld in.
Op 8 maart klinkt in het Konzerthaus Berlin de première van de grootschalige orkestversie, uitgevoerd door het Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin o.l.v. Vladimir Jurowski.
Bij Orkest De Ereprijs initiëren we actief nieuwe muziek via compositieopdrachten en innovatieve uitvoeringen. We zijn trots dat wat hier begon als een ensemblewerk voor solist en klein orkest, nu uitgroeit tot een grote orkestversie dat internationale podia bereikt. Zo laten we ideeën van componisten groeien en maken we nieuwe muziek toegankelijk en levendig voor iedereen.
