An experience I will hold dear to my heart. On my travels to @worshipmvt mid way on my drive I noticed the sky looked like a storm was brewing. Then I saw a sign that said “flooding, do not keep driving if flooded but turn around”. In the background of the song I was playing in the car I could hear the lyrics repeated “I’m not turning back now, I’m not turning back now”. ( you can not make this up!) I took a breathe and said “I have already come this far Lord I’m not turning back” As I kept driving the storm increased, the rain heavy, but I knew His faithful. Upon my arrival I soon came to find out it was hurricane Debby that I had encountered in my drive and it was still raging. When I arrived at the studio, IMMEDIATELY I knew this place was different, that it was His. As I got settled 20 minutes before starting the fire alarm started to go off (for the second time that day) and the firemen arrived. During this time, a young lady was sharing her testimony of speaking the name of Jesus over a previous storm and the storm stopped! Moments after this story, a few minutes before class started, the alarm stopped. In Jesus name! Then His spirit moved. I can safely say the atmosphere was thick, made knees fall in reverence, encouragement and truth poured through the class, prayer erupted and joy was restored. Some may think, how can dance be a place where the Lord shows up so greatly. Isn’t it just at church?? I have seen countless testimonies of Jesus showing Himself mightily through healings, deliverance, powerful moments of worship, but most of all showing His consuming love for His people. I have thankfully been a part of many workshops, all I am thankful for, this was the first location that I traveled independently representing “For His Glory” and I feel blessed to have it be at a studio that has its foundation firm on doing all things For His Glory. @worshipmvt you represent Jesus so well, and I thank you again for having me. What is the Lord telling you to keep moving through?? Today even though I felt the pain, a voice stronger, pressed on my spirit “keep moving”. Instead of opening my mouth, I surrendered to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and MOVED. It was such a simple instruction, but one that was proven with power. KEEP MOVING! Move through the pain, move through it! The Lord will meet you. If you will just keep moving. He is and will keep equipping you to be built in Him to conquer, persevere and be redeemed! Before Abraham was Abram there was a process before the promise. Even before we received the blessings from the covenant God made to Abraham, many had to go through major trial and challenge before that came to pass. Remember the trial doesn’t outweigh the promise! Keep your eyes and heart on the promise God gave you. Remember He is a God that can not lie. Are you in the beginnings of the promise??Or have you been in the promise for years and your in another trial?? PERSEVERE and keep your eyes on the promises of God.
