It’s official - welcome to our home in Spello, Italy! 🇮🇹
Our parents have been visiting Spello for 10 years now. It has become their special place, a place where they feel at home and have made many incredible friends.
Spello has become a magical and special place for our entire family, and that’s why we decided to share it with all of you through our Le Bon Chaperon trips. Owning their own home in their favorite place has been a dream that our parents have been talking about for years. They’ve finally taken the plunge, and as of today-are homeowners. We’re so excited for this home to be a special gathering place during future Le Bon Chaperon trips!
We will share renovations as they happen, and are so excited to open up the home for rentals once complete! Be one of the first to see it this October 🤍

One day in Amsterdam (with kids)! 🇳🇱
We had just an afternoon in Amsterdam before flying home to the US - but we made the most of our time (by mostly eating 😅).
Do you have more time? There’s so many things to do that should make your itinerary!
-Keukenhof (only open in the spring)
-Zaanse Schans
-Nemo Science Museum
-Van Gogh Museum
-Vondelpark
-Anne Frank House (we only visited from the outside with young children)
Even better - get out of Amsterdam! The train system in the Netherlands is fantastic and you can get to so many amazing cities so quickly (and affordably)! Consider visiting:
-Leiden
-Alkmaar
-Den Haag
-Delft
-Gouda
*all are 1 hour or less from Amsterdam Centraal!
Special mentions: Apenheul (monkey park), the Efteling (amusement park), and Beekse Bergen (safari park) are great for an all-day / overnight outing with kids ✨

It has been a whirlwind of a trip!

But of course there was still time for friends and delicious food 🤍
