Finally, it’s here! I’m beyond thrilled to announce Street Smart Women. Earlier this year, I was inspired to tell the stories of remarkable women with little to no formal education who are making a big impact in their own way—women like the Alhajas and mummies in entrepreneurship, who work tirelessly in everyday buying and selling to provide for their families. Some even achieve the incredible feat of sending their children abroad for the education they didn’t have. As the journey unfolded, we expanded our scope to include fairly educated women with equally inspiring business stories. Street Smart Women is a platform to celebrate these resourceful women, and I’m so proud to see this vision come to life. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at News Central TV for working tirelessly with me to make this happen. From multiple trips to Ibadan, Lagos, and other parts of Oyo State, this mini-series has been a labor of love—and I can confidently say it’s all been worth it! Stay tuned for Street Smart Women. Let’s celebrate their stories together!
