@kiddieland_of_merced kicked off the 2026 season with several renovations to the park and a new train! The amusement park, has been volunteer operated by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced since 1957. It takes a village and Merced came together so that future generations can continue to enjoy this gem! #VisitMerced

This past Friday, I attended the State of Merced County. Aside from the deep $10 million in programmatic cuts, HR 1 will continue to increase economic inequality for everyone in our county, and across the U.S. I also ran into candidate for California Insurance Commissioner, @janekim , at @hola_cafecito ! Update: Adding blueberries to my home garden! I’ve been spending a lot of time learning various methods of growing resilient and sustainable garden at home — that is beneficial bug friendly, pesticide free and provides nutritious benefits! So far, I’ve had a good harvest of eggplants, tomatoes and peppers and now learning about food we can grow in the cool months in the USDA zone 9a. We can increase access to fresh healthy produce, by growing our own food in one of the most fertile soil in the world!
