El proyecto de blackened death thrash Morbikon lanzó su nuevo álbum Lost Within The Astral Crypts a traves de Tankcrimes.
Morbikon está guiado por la segunda ola de las escenas de black metal escandinavo y death metal melódico de los años 90, siendo el esfuerzo creativo del guitarrista/bajista Phil “Landphil” Hall (Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse, Iron Reagan) con Mathias “Vreth” Lillmåns (Finntroll, …And Oceans) en la voz,
“Este álbum se siente como uno de mis trabajos más oscuros hasta la fecha”, dice Hall en relación al nuevo LP, segundo de la banda. “Llené estas canciones hasta el borde con atmósfera y riffs. Hay momentos en el álbum que realmente se sienten impregnados de la clásica blasfemia underground de los 90”.
