A Night of Warm Vibes & Great Tunes at Moonstone Cellars, February 4, 2026 Even with a cozier crowd than usual, the magic of our weekly open mic was in full force last night at Moonstone Cellars. The intimate setting only amplified the incredible energy and first-class music that filled the room. A huge thanks to the irreplaceable Oz Barron for masterfully steering the ship as our host, and to Andy Pickar for ensuring the wine—and the good spirits—flowed freely all evening. We were honored to have PJ Webb join us to represent our current nonprofit partner, the Friends of The Elephant Seal. It’s always meaningful to connect our community’s love for music with a cause that protects the incredible natural beauty of our coast. The musical soul of the night was Keven Byrne, who truly shone. From adding brilliant harmonica accompaniment to Oz’s songs to delivering a solo performance, Keven’s talent was a gift to us all. A very warm welcome to Gary Spirack, a new transplant to Cambria, who graced our stage for the first time. Your debut was wonderful, and we sincerely hope it’s the first of many appearances. Last night was a perfect reminder that it’s not about the size of the crowd, but the quality of the connection. What an incredible night! 🎉 Last night, January 21, was an absolute full house—bursting with both amazing musicians and a wonderfully supportive audience. The energy was electric from the first note to the last! A huge thank you to every single person who came out to share, listen, and connect. We welcomed a new performer, Dave Palley, and hope he returns. From powerful solo acts to spontaneous collaborations, the room was alive with the kind of talent and warmth that makes our open mic so special. Over time, many performers have said that this is the best, most welcoming open mic in the area, and we agree. A special round of applause for our host, Oz Barron, and to every performer who took the stage. Of course, it would not be the same without delicious Moonstone Cellars wines, poured by the ever-smiling Andy Pickar. Open Mic, December 10 Last night's open mic created a warm haven from the chilly December night, filled once again with incredible music and community spirit. As always, the event supported a great local cause, and we are thrilled to partner with Infinite Music, an organization dedicated to providing students with instruments and lessons. The evening was highlighted by an unbelievably generous moment when Steve Nathanson donated TWO Martin guitars directly to Infinite Music. This incredible gift will empower students for years to come and stands as a testament to the power of our community. Infinite Music superstar Jamison Winstead performed and was invited to play a third son. Delightful. The musical journey was deep and captivating, moving from intimate folk harmonies and acapella songs. The rhythm section was anchored by the versatile sounds of Brian Wright on cajón, adding a rich pulse to multiple performances. A special thanks to Todd and Kendra Clift, our hosts, Oz Barron for emceeing the evening, our dedicated sound engineer Steve Finch, and Andy Pickar, our renowned bartender, for making the whole evening flow seamlessly. It was a genuine team effort. Please join us for our final open mic of the year next Tuesday, December 17, at 6:00 pm. That will be the last open mic for 2025.
