I wasn’t going to attend Sea Otter this year.

Too intimidating, too expensive, Moonspin’s too small, it’s too much to take on while running Moonspin solo plus my full time day job. “That’s a 2027 goal,” I told myself.

I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the voices inside my head saying “no.” Instead, I listened to the voices around me who believe in me, believe in Moonspin, and believe in the power of being in community. 

Thanks to those of you who nudged me along. Thanks to Cassandra, who bravely teamed up with me for the Sea Otter debut of her beautiful women’s road cycling apparel brand @sahacycling Thanks to Gigi, to Sarah, to SJ, to Joe, and to Hans for your laughs, sweat, and following directions (orders?) with so much ease.
