Die portugiesischen Gothic-Metal-Visionäre @moonspellofficial , gegründet 1992 sind einer der markantesten Vertreter des europäischen Metal und fügten der weltweiten Geschichte des Heavy Metal ihr ganz eigenes, portugiesisches Kapitel hinzu. Die Band feiert derzeit ihr 30-jähriges Bestehen. Im Jahr 2021 veröffentlichten sie mit *Hermitage* ihr jüngstes Werk, das als eines der besten Alben des Jahres ausgezeichnet wurde. Ende September 2022 erscheint nun ihr neues Live-Album – aufgezeichnet 80 Meter unter der Erdoberfläche in einer natürlichen Höhle in Portugal. Zeitgleich nehmen sie ihre stets intensiv gepflegte Live-Tätigkeit wieder auf, um ihr dreißigjähriges Bühnenjubiläum gemeinsam mit ihrem „Rudel“ zu feiern. —————————— The Portuguese gothic metal visionaries @moonspellofficial , founded in 1992, are among the most distinctive representatives of European metal, adding their very own Portuguese chapter to the global history of heavy metal. The band is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. In 2021, they released *Hermitage*, their latest work, which was acclaimed as one of the best albums of the year. Now, in late September 2022, their new live album is set to be released—recorded 80 meters beneath the earth’s surface inside a natural cave in Portugal.
