One of the most frequent questions here at Moon Phase Acupuncture is - do I accept insurance? I do not in the traditional way BUT I do offer super bills. A lot of my patients receive reimbursement from their insurance companies when they submit super bills from my services. Some important details to note : • Amount of reimbursement varies per insurance provider • Make sure you have out of network acupuncture benefits ( you can call the back of your card ) • Cosmetic services are not covered •• Super bills are a detail medical receipts that include the medical codes ( ICD10 codes) that describe the aliments treated in the session. Cosmetic Acupuncture & Microneedling have been popular again in my clinic lately! Packages are available for both individually or a combination (recommended) here at Moon Phase Acupuncture! Please see our previous post that lists our Microneedling & combination packages of both modalities! Packages are not required for either service, they’re just a great way to save $ and commit 🤍 Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments are recommended 6 - 10 treatments in a full treatment plan, for best results we recommend 10. They can be spaced out 1 - 2 x a week for best results, but can be spread out further if needed. Just like regular acupuncture, results vary per person. A single Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment is $130. A single add-on Dual Light Therapy session is $70. Cosmetic Acupuncture can be performed on the face, neck and chest. * Please reach out for pricing regarding neck and chest. **Side note: a very common concern: Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling are safe and effective if you receive Toxin injectables. Treatments need to be spaced out accordingly. 4 weeks apart or more. I have been performing Cosmetic Acupuncture for patients for over 10 years, 7 years in my private practice. All treatments are spaced out 4 weeks apart. Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments are recommended 6 - 10 treatments in a full treatment plan, for best results 10. They can be spaced out 1 - 2 x a week for best results, but can be spread out further if needed. The recommended treatment plan is a combination of both modalities: Microneedling & Cosmetic Acupuncture. As always : the first session of Microneedling is half off - $150 instead of $300 to try it out. Because of this, I have made 5 month packages instead of 6. A single Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment is $130. A Microneedling session includes: - numbing cream - dual Light Therapy - an aloe mask Microneedling can be performed on the face, neck, chest and hands. Additionally the scalp and eyebrows for a hair loss treatment. * Please reach out for pricing regarding neck, chest, hands or eyebrows. Scalp is the same price as face.
