GAMEHIFI c’est notre émission bi-mestrielle chez @stationstation_radio qui parle de musique de jeu vidéo et de son rapport au monde qui nous entoure.
Une émission dans laquelle on tentera tant bien que mal de vulgariser cette culture qui pourtant fait partie intégrante du très populaire média jeu vidéo mais qui reste méconnue ou encore en marge alors qu’elle est d’une grande pluralité et d’une complexité qui mérite le détour et qui peut nous permettre d’être un point de départ pour parler de notre réalité.
Dans ce premier épisode, on parlera de samples de jeu vidéo dans le rap.

@moonflowersoft is a duo of VGM composers and electronic music lovers. Digging all day long to find the best gems for their mixes and inspirations for their compositions. Half rave, half wave, both gloomy and groovy.
In this mix @moonflowersoft wanted to pay homage to video game music from the late 90s and early 2000s, and more specifically to racing and shmup games. There are quite a few sounds inspired by electronic trance and techno music, with a fast rhythm and acid synths.
The duo tried to imagine this mix as a shmup video game level with different phases. The first track gives you the courage to sink into a cold, acid-filled zone with techno/cold tracks, before gradually returning to the air with more atmospheric synths and trance vibes.
