🪨𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙃🪨 possibly one of my favourite shots EVER. we were so lucky to stumble across this giant stone disc! it even has a cutout in centre that makes it look like chinese coins, aka the same as the shape often used in the earth kingdom and even thenshape of the earth rock discs used to fight! Also im just so glad to really show off this costume in full, im so proud of it <3 for a relatively simple design i had a really fun time redesigning it with my twist and putting it together, patterning, embroidering and figuring out all the quirks of it, the wig is a real showstopper but the costume itself took a lot of love and care and is just a feat of how far my sewing skills have come, showing how clean i can really make it! This cosplay was the first of my tenth year of cosplay and im proud to display it! 𝐼’𝓁𝓁 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝓌𝒶𝓉𝒸𝒽 𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝒷𝑒𝓎𝑜𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓇𝓈… What a way to bring back my Rosalina cosplay! Ive been cosplaying her for many years now but finally i remade her original dress with my skills which have come so much further than 2023, im so incredibly proud of my cosplay and how far ive come. To those who know me you all know how very special Rosalina is to me, how she is quite literally my favourite character of all time and has been for the 19 years she existed. She makes me so Euphoric and to see her on the big screen today was incredible! I went to one of the first showings today and it’s the first time ive ever been to a movies release day, and what a day. The staff were lovely and the energy was just so wonderful. The movie itself was incredible and i absolutely adored it and cant wait to watch it again and again! Con was only saturday when i got to debut my new and improved rosalina so that and the mario galaxy’s movies release being back to back has just given me such a high. I wont spoil any of the movie, but absolutely go watch it, it’s incredible! I cant wait to share more photos of this cosplay and for my next Rosalina cosplay which will be another alternative outfit of hers! Genuinely what a con line up, im so glad i cosplayed Rosalina in time coincidentally for the mario movie and absolutely even more of a coincidence Celeste in time for Animal Crossings 25th anniversary! I love being able to wear her and am still incredibly proud of my design and making of this cosplay even till this day, i always enjoy rewearing her and i cannot thank Tammie enough for capturing some wonderful photos of me❤️‍🩹 an absolute angel im so grateful to call my friend🌟 Now a little ramble about animal crossing! I didnt play much growing up as it was my sisters game, i just watched from time to time but even from early days Celeste sparked my love. It was only when i tried new leaf myself in late 2019 early 2020 and loved it so much i wound up getting a switch finally and new horizons and my im so glad i did, ive never gone back. Being able to play games again after a dry period through my teen years was a wonder and really gave me my spark back and i have a lot to thank animal crossing for that. It taught me a new way to enjoy and play games, gave me motivation in the lows of lockdown and helped me form friendships even till this day. This game is deeply important to me and i will forever love it and I’ll forever love the stargazing owl who was a girl after my own heart from the beginning. I love you Celeste, i love you Animal crossing.
