There are times when graphic composition should challenge expectations of clarity and control in design. Using spray paint as a disruptive tool, it destabilises hierarchy and embraces misalignment, overspray, and visual noise, allowing material process to override controlled systems.
Really thankful to have been able to create this mural for @embassyvillagemcr to celebrate everyone who’s been a part of the process to get the project to completion. Took a good amount of time to cut all these stencils by hand but definitely worth it!

To say I’m thrilled is an understatement. Our first of many in the pipeline, since you all asked so nicely.
Myself and @mooney.visuals wanted to share a space to unwind, slow down and share materials. To make an environment that would allow us all to relieve ourselves of demand and pressure and just go with the flow.

Anyone who knows me knows how much of a hip hop head I am. I’ve always loved the approach of turning a bad situation into something good, regardless of circumstance. That’s what the no nonsense rhetoric of ‘ Turn shit to sugar ‘ comes from for me.
I screen printed this on the back of a vintage G-Unit jacket from the early 2000’s. It looks dope in my opinion & still available to buy just dm me.
