I feel like this is whimsimedieval in the best way; a little homage to all those snail illustrations in the margins of old manuscripts. Maybe I should make this a snail-knight costume with a sword too, although right now I’m more keen to see how much I can fit in my shell backpack. Function and whimsy!🐌

Finally, at last, the large red snail shell backpacks are here. Preorders packed, and I just updated the stock on my website and Etsy with my remaining backpacks.

As an autistic woman, there is a troubling reality that some people question my decision to have children. Is it selfish for someone with multiple challenges to become a parent?
I have to admit that I struggle with the responsibilities of motherhood. I may not have the same capacity as others, but I am fortunate to have a supportive family who helps me fill in the gaps.
Navigating motherhood as an autistic woman is particularly challenging. The societal expectations of being the primary caregiver and handling various tasks can be overwhelming.
Despite these challenges, I chose to have a child and I do not regret my decision. While I may not have the same level of caretaking responsibilities as others, I am beyond grateful for the support I receive from my family ❤️
