Oops okay I’ll be honest I was not feeling very creative this month. Here’s what I’ve got for ya in the last 30 minutes of this lovely April! I really should have made these all a 2027 calendar because I’m really never finishing these with enough time to actually use the page but hey maybe I’ll get faster??
Heyyyyyyy happy new year!! I forgot to order a new wall calendar for 2026 so I decided to make one month by month. Excited to print this baby out and stick it on my kitchen wall so I can remain conscious of the passage of time 🍂❄️
oops kinda forgot to post on here for a year… I promise I’ve been making art but also not really so here’s a drawing of some mirror selfies from October 😎🤳
(made this bad boy in june but haven’t gathered the mental strength to post it until just now) HUGE thank you to @margorosenbaum for trusting me with my first ever commissioned piece, a wedding gift for her horse-friends!! 🥳💍🐎 MANY hours of stalking these horses on instagram, making wildly ambitious patterns, cutting and re-cutting teensy-tiny pieces, and lots of cuts and cracked glass — but i am SO proud of how this came out. My most complicated glass project by far 😵💫🤠
Approximately seventy-eight million hours of podcasts and audiobooks later… here is all of the stained glass I’ve made over the last year and a half! 🤠📓🍏🔧🪟🪩🌿🥽🌷🔗
here is the full stained glass process: designing a pattern, picking up some new glass, transferring the pattern, cutting the pieces, grinding the edges, foiling every piece (plus running out of copper tape at 1am), soldering it all together, and finally polishing the piece and putting it on a chain :) two emergency trips to the glass store, three entire audiobooks, blood, sweat, and thankfully no tears. i can definitely say it was worth it. ⛷️
NEW STAINED GLASS PROJECT! 🎉 the real ones know this piece is inspired by my favorite ski suit but the even realer ones know that it is actually inspired by my outrageously fashionable grandmother Diane, who lets me shop in her closet all the time <3 This was a gift for Diane’s 90th birthday so please enjoy this journey through vintage ski fashions and raise a glass to the queen of the onesie 🥂🍾 (process videos coming soon)
OKAY im finally done with this project ive been cooking in my head for months!! im super proud of this one so trust you will be seeing more of it — i took about one million time-lapses. swipe for a peek of the process 👀
propagation station 🌱 (not featured: my first attempt that was so messy and non-functional that i melted it back down into little glass pieces in shame)
