I recently traveled to Mexico City, and one of my main goals was to return to the Vasconcelos Library. This time, I didn’t just want to walk through it—I wanted to capture its essence: the textures, the colors, the way light filters into every corner, and those endless views that its architecture generously offers.
Created by one of my favorite architects, Alberto Kalach and his architectural firm Taller de Arquitectura X, this place is insane—in the best possible way. Years ago, when I was studying architecture, I became completely fascinated with it. Inside, it hides a surreal atmosphere—full of cantilevers, suspended walkways, structures and volumes that seem to float in the air, creating a kind of visual chaos that, somehow, feels perfectly harmonious.
It’s a place that pulls you in, challenges you, and leaves you feeling like you’ve stepped inside a living work of art.

Hace poco viajé a la Ciudad de México, y uno de mis objetivos principales era volver a la Biblioteca Vasconcelos. Esta vez no solo quería recorrerla, sino capturar su esencia: las texturas, los colores, la forma en que la luz se filtra por cada rincón y esas vistas infinitas que su arquitectura regala generosamente.
Diseñada por uno de mis arquitectos favoritos, Alberto Kalach, junto con su despacho Taller de Arquitectura X, este lugar es insane—en el mejor sentido de la palabra. Hace años, cuando estudiaba arquitectura, quedé completamente fascinado. En su interior se esconde una atmósfera surreal: llena de voladizos, pasarelas suspendidas, estructuras y volúmenes que parecen flotar en el aire, creando un caos visual que, de alguna forma, resulta perfectamente armonioso.
Es un lugar que te envuelve, te reta y te deja con la sensación de estar dentro de una obra de arte que respira.

Climbing the Iztaccíhuatl has been one of the most challenging and, at the same time, most rewarding experiences of my life. Being up there, at over 5,000 meters, feels like being transported to another world: a beautiful but inhospitable landscape unfolds before your eyes, where rocks and sand blend with clouds that brush against the earth.

Sometimes there are photos that seem to be forgotten; sometimes, you need to take the time to publish them. This is the case of a road trip I took with my brother and Javi an Argentine friend, where the sole purpose of the journey was to connect with nature and break away from the routine.
