This past weekend watching her fall during her run-through in front of a gymnasium of onlookers was a heavy moment, but watching her look fear in the eye, shake it off, and finish her practice routine and still able to compete was dope to see. Thatās the heart of a true athlete.

Had to go back and dust off my very first pair of Derrick Rose shoes today. His career was cut short in a lot of ways because of injuries, but what always stood out to me was how hard he fought to keep competing. He never quit.
Now seeing him as a father, mentoring his son and stepping into this next chapter with wisdom and maturityā¦ man, thatās powerful. Proud of the man heās become and how heās grown over the years.
