And that's a wrap! The final copies of the KAMEN RIDER TRILOGY came in yesterday, the end result of months of work. I had the fortunate opportunity to be involved working on the commentaries as well as producing/editing an interview with director Keita Amemiya. Caught AGITO: PSYCHIC WAR yesterday in Yokohama that included a stage greetings by the entire cast. AGITO was a series that had been recommended for years in the early 2010s by my friends @theplasticaddict and Claire ... and it turned me into a huge fan. I very much liked the film, it was good seeing Shoichi, Hikawa and everyone else again though I definitely had some questions. Nine years ago, I took my mom to Japan after my father passed away.
I thought it was just a trip to make memories.
I didn’t know it would change my life.
What started with Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and tokusatsu became something much deeper: friendships, creative opportunities, gratitude, and a connection to a place that continues to inspire me.
Next week, I’m heading back for the 10th time.
Not as a flex. As a reflection.

Just turned in the final special feature materials for GARO: TAIGA to @mediablastersinc . This marks my 3rd disc release and 5th commentary.
While we didn't do as much deliverable wise comparitvely to KAMEN RIDER DYAD, the amount of effort that went into this one was definitely on the same level. GARO's history hasn't had much exposure in the English speaking world, so when putting together the commentary and liners, the goal was to try to inform listeners and readers of the incredible talent behind the franchise and movie. It had a rich history with so many incredible players, and I hope people walk away with a better understanding and appreciation for GARO as a whole.
By the way, if you haven't jumped on the GARO wagon yet, this is the on ramp youve been looking for.
Now, onto the next. "Be strong."
