it has been a couple weeks since our final performance of polkadots, and i’m really getting hit by post show sadness. i miss the lovely ladies i shared the stage with, and i miss singing and dancing in front of kids at the crack of dawn every day. it was such a fulfilling show, and one that i will remember for the rest of my days.

spring is finally here. the weather has been flipflopping lately, but the air is nice and cool with just a light kiss of heat. i got myself a new film camera from the folks at @coastalfilmlab , and went for a walk in the city about a couple weeks ago, and wouldn’t you know it, my scans came back on the first day of spring. true happiness is a lot of things, but for me right now it’s new photos.

had a really nice session at @foolish_pride_2 with my parents today! it was their first tattoos, and i knew i had to bring them in to see @gen.hyphae .
they did wonderfully with my folks, walking them through the process, having fun chats, and being gentle with them.
we are so delighted with our matching odo nnyew fie kwan adinkra symbols. it means “love will never lose its way home”. if you ever find yourself in the clearwater area, go see genn!!

school tour is over, but we had a wonderful public performance at @zubrickmagic today! it was such a lovely space, and i was so excited to perform for friends and family. two more performances at sunken gardens, here we come!
