I did the cover art for the new Microwaves LP that was just released on Decoherence Records. Thanks to John Roman @blaa_noxious for bringing me onboard for this project.

@monoroid and his wife , Noelle have been totally blown away by everyone’s donations, concern, care and support to the gofundme to benefit Neil’s medical bills and recovery. Thanks so much to everyone who’s written them and re-posted this Gofundme (link in bio) on Social Media. I’m totally stunned at everyone’s kindness, and glad Neil has reached his initial fundraising goal where he will be able to cover some immediately pressing financial needs. With the uncertainty of his medical billing, I’m leaving the fundraiser for him up with another ( Gofundme / Automated suggested) goal post just to make sure he’s not caught in a lurch when he gets his actual hospital invoicing. Thanks so much folks.
Apologies for the long gap between the last post and this one. My energy level has been at an all time low the past few weeks. An update is in order. I'm happy to report that things are moving in the right direction, but it's a slow road. Basically, at some point there was a tear in my intestines and some leakage occurred. Not a good thing! This led to some pockets of infection, and when it hit, it hit hard! I fell to the ground in agony. My wife Noëlle, rushed me to the ER, where I got morphine and a CT scan and was told I needed emergency surgery. They weren't sure how things would go until they got inside and said that they might need to remove some of my intestines. When I awoke from the 4 hour surgery, I was relieved that everything was left intact. They did a very thorough cleansing of my lower abdomen. I spent 9 days in the hospital. The first few days were quite rough with very little sleep. 9 days later I was discharged and spent most of that time either on the couch or in bed. Only in the past few days do I feel like there is finally some energy returning. It's still going to be a bit til I'm back, but at least I'm finally on my way. I can't thank everyone enough who reached out to me. It really lifted my spirits, even if I didn't have the energy to respond to everyone. I must say that the nursing staff at Jefferson Hospital was top notch. They took great care of me. Noëlle was pivotal in making my hospital stay as good as possible. I can't thank her enough. My main goal is to heal so I can get back to my normal routine.
This all said, I find myself in a real financial pickle. I never really thought it's something I'd ever need to do, but a GoFundMe has been set up by my friend Ken Sanderson, to help me out. I have health insurance but I'm not yet sure how much of the medical bills it will cover yet and what other charges will show up from the stay, and since I'm self employed as a screen printer and can't work, as I've got a 7 1/2 inch scar on my belly that needs to heal, that's a major loss of income. I'm in a very precarious situation. Anything contributed is beyond appreciated and helps more than you know. Link to the fund raiser is in the bio.
Sooo... I had a pleasant visit with my doctor on Monday morning and scheduled a CT scan to look into a possible diverticulitis situation. Didn't appear to be too pressing and we were feeling like we were ahead of it. Monday evening I find myself at the ER with the worst pain I've ever experienced. Hours later I'm going in for exploratory surgery to see how bad things were and what path would be proceeded. There was a major infection that needed to be cleaned out but thankfully nothing was cut out, so while it's been absolute hell, things could've been much worse. When I came out of anesthesia, the first news I was made aware of was the Ozzy Osbourne had passed. RIP Ozzy.
Had a blast printing up this poster and shirt for Body/Head. The poster was drawn by Raymond Pettibon and Marcel Dzama and sent to me as a phone pic. Needless to say, separating the colors and getting it print ready was a wild ride, but after dissecting it and reconstructing it, I'm very pleased with how everything came out. I put the shirt together with elements from the poster. If there's anything left over from the gig in NYC tonight and Philly on Sun and Mon, I may offer some up for sale on my site.

Just printed this shirt for His Hero is Gone, featuring art by @carlauge . 5 color process print on black tee with underbase. Available from fifteencountsofarson.bigcartel.com. Swipe to see a close up, just the underbase (which is available as its own shirt as well, for those that prefer the classic white on black look) and some process prints. Thanks to @iamjaviervillegas for connecting Carl and I on this project!
Very pleased with the way this one came out!
