@monodroids is the electro project of @fro_0666 and @rlct___ , Athens-based DJs and producers from @society3000_ , channeling the energy of a fractured generation into sound. Their music moves between raw machine funk and dystopian pressure. They appeared on Tiger Weeds’ VA New World Vol. 2, contributing to the compilation’s forward-leaning electro vision. Catch them on December 26 at @astronclub for the Tiger Weeds x Astron night.

Both players have visited our events in the past, and their combination guarantees a solid sound and flow, in line with the venue’s standards and concept.
Alongside them, S3K residents Monodroids & Yorz will bring their street styles for an evening full of friends, dance and love.

Monodroids is an electro project by Athens-based DJs and producers, members of SOCIETY 3000 and active in the underground / DIY scene. With over 10 years of experience and numerous solo releases, they combine musical knowledge and a wide spectrum of influences to push the genre forward while honoring the early golden era of electronic music.

Την Κυριακή, 16 Νοεμβρίου, ο ουρανός θα γεμίσει φωτεινές τροχιές - η βροχή των Λεοντιδών, το ετήσιο κοσμικό φαινόμενο όπου τα απομεινάρια του κομήτη Tempel-Tuttle καίγονται στην ατμόσφαιρα, θα φτάσει στην κορύφωσή της. Κάθε φλέβα φωτός που θα χαράσσει το νυχτερινό στερέωμα θα είναι μοναδική· μια γραφή φωτιάς πάνω στον αέρα, μια στιγμή που δεν θα επαναληφθεί ποτέ με τον ίδιο τρόπο.
Την Κυριακή, στην καρδιά του Πειραιά, μέσα σε μια ανακαινισμένη αποθήκη από το απόγευμα ως τα μεσάνυχτα, με τη βοήθεια των BLIP, της VRDR, του Poor J’Darr & των Monodroids ο ήχος θα απλωθεί μέσα στον χώρο, θα περάσει από τους τοίχους, θα γλιστρήσει κατά μήκος των μεταλλικών δοκών, θα στροβιλιστεί στις γωνίες, διαγράφοντας πορείες που μόνο η ύλη μπορεί να αισθανθεί. Kαι καθώς οι συχνότητες θα αγγίζουν τον σκελετό του κτηρίου, θα αρχίσει να αποκαλύπτεται η κρυφή του γλώσσα - ένα λεξιλόγιο από δονήσεις, από ήπιες αντιστάσεις, από ψιθύρους που ανεβαίνουν από τα θεμέλια.
Όπως ο μετεωρίτης λάμπει μόνο τη στιγμή που συναντά τη γήινη ατμόσφαιρα, έτσι και ο ήχος γίνεται ορατός τη στιγμή που θα αγγίξει τον σκελετό του κτηρίου. Η λάμψη του πρώτου είναι φωτιά· του δεύτερου, δόνηση. Αφιερώνουμε λοιπόν αυτή τη μέρα στην αθέατη μοναδικότητα της πορείας κάθε ήχου και κάθε φωτεινού σώματος και στο ταξίδι τους που μπορούμε να αντιληφθούμε μόνο όταν φτάσει στο τέλος του.
Κι έτσι, όπως η βροχή των Λεοντιδών θα επιστρέψει, μα ποτέ δε θα είναι η ίδια, έτσι και το βράδυ της Κυριακής το κτήριο θα προφέρει τον ήχο του μέσα από τα θεμέλια και τις ραφές του, μέσα από τα σημάδια που φέρει από τον χρόνο. Κι ύστερα θα σωπάσει, αφήνοντας πίσω του μια μνήμη που δε θα επαναληφθεί - έναν παλμό που ανήκει μόνο σε εκείνη τη νύχτα, κάτω από τον ουρανό του Πειραιά, όπου ο ήχος και το φως θα μοιραστούν για λίγο την ίδια τροχιά προτού σβήσουν μαζί, μέσα στο σκοτάδι.
