اگر اول سپتامبر سال ۱۹۳۹ آلمان به لهستان حمله نمیکرد و آن جنگ دوم جهانی رخ نمیداد و عدهای کوچانده نمیشدند در سرزمینی مقدس حالا روند زیست و زندگی ما طور دیگری میبود
باید از جنگ و تقارنش با نوروز بگوییم و این برای ما که از روز اول همیشه در شیپور صلح دمیدیم سخت ترین کار دنیاست
حالا که مینویسم صدای باران قشنگ بهاری توامان با صداهای مهیب انفجارهایی که دور و نزدیک میشوند شنیده می شود،بسیار غمگینم،نشستم به تماشای رمبیدن و بٌن گرفتن این شهر و آدمهایش که مرا در آغوشش پرورش داد. شهر از همیشه خلوت تر است اما اینبار نه فقط برای نوروز که برای گریختن از این صداهای لا ینقطع انفجار
داشت یادم میرفت از نوروز نوشتن را ، به قول شاعری « من خواب بودم بهار آمد و رفت » اینبار از نوروز نه شادیای هست و آیند و روند آدمها. اینبار از نوروز تنها باران و بهاری مانده که بسیار زیباست
کاش میشد دست تک تک جنگ افروزان را گرفت و به بیرون برد تا صدای باران را بشنوند تا شکوفههای درختان را ببینند تا بهار و زایش و زیبایی و آبادانی لمس کنند شاید دست میکشیدند از ویران کردن جهان. کاش میشد برایشان این شعر را خواند که :
خدا کند انگورها برسند
جهان مست شود
تلو تلو بخورند خیابانها
به شانه هم بزنند رئیس جمهورها و گدایان
مرزها

۲۱ سپتامبر یک تاریخ برای یادآوری صلح در جهان است، تاریخی نمادین برای دعوت به تفکر و صلح و دوری از جنگ و خشونت است هر چند میدانیم واقعیت جنگ ها ادامه دارد و جنگ افروزان نسبتی با انسان و صلح و اندیشه ندارند.
و مون کوتر ۲۱ سپتامبر روز جهانی صلح این جوهر جاودانه زیبایی را گرامی میدارد.
