We're getting closer! Get the £5 tickets while you can! £8 on the door! 🔥🔈 Ticket link in story! #electro #techno #bass #breaks Warlock has been DJing since 1989, constantly seeking out new music from emerging genres since starting out on London pirate radio (Pulse FM) back in the days of Acid House and Hardcore. Now hosting a weekly show on Kool FM, he is currently immersed in today's wide ranging Bass Music scene and is behind the renowned Rag & Bone imprint which has seen output from the likes of Aaron Spectre, Drop The Lime, Stagga, King Cannibal and Kanji Kinetic. His own productions too have made it onto vinyl with Hypercolour, Fat Hop, We Buy Gold, Skint, frijsfo Beats and of course Rag & Bone itself. Sets typically fuse together disparate styles and beats inflected with Bass, Techno, Breaks, Club, Juke, Electro and more whilst also drawing upon all manner of retro beats known and unknown. Warlock and Kim Cosmik played together at many Spiral Tribe and Bedlam events back in the day and recently at the Free Party documentary launch in Bristol. They continue to seek out and champion new music without being genre specific while fusing styles in the wildstyle tradition. Kim Cosmik is a Producer and DJ who’s signature sound is futuristic, experimental, Electro, Techno, Breaks and Bass music. Due to her extensive music collection, she can also play many styles across the dance music spectrum and beyond. Kim Cosmik runs Hybrid Rave which started in 2019 in Hastings and also promotes the event around the UK. Kim Cosmik also runs a label called Cybersoul and releases music on several labels such as 2020 Vision, Science Cult, Touched Music, Moatun and many more. Infinite Monkeys is a collective based in London with an ever growing number heterogeneous members, self proclaimed as Monkeys (currently around 40). The collective (though not exclusively) as an audio-visual project combining live visuals and improvised music. The collective has performed at art festivals, experimental music events and venues and urban raves and on the first Friday of every month on Netil radio. Infinite Monkeys are available for adoption.

Once a monkey said: “Keep your eye on the donut, and not on the hole”, encouraging focus on the positive, substantial aspects of creativity and life (the donut) rather than the negative void (the hole) that can distract from the work itself, emphasizing the joy of the creative process and pure consciousness. Infinite Monkeys, the first Friday of every month at Netil Radio from 9 to 11PM. Making live music, naturally colouring, f*cked-stepping, baking donuts, and being available for adoption.

Anastasia Freygang @ragamash_sandybaum , a lasting member of the Infinite Monkeys collective: Free-form live vocals, turntablism, and beat-driven speech acts that have been sourced then re-recorded. MC ANASTASIE chants atop de-constructed Pop songs played by DJ PARISHSKIJ PUMPKIN aka DJ CONVERT aka the USB-browsing joyloop of Anastasia Freygang anytime and wherever, dealing in interruptions. Infinite Monkeys, the first Friday of every month @netilradio from 9 to 11PM. Live improvising, naturally colouring, f*cked-stepping, baking doughnuts, and being available for adoption.

GAME GUIDELINES FOR MONKEY WORKSHOPS 🍌🐒🍌🐒 * BYOSynth Bring your own synthesiser or any kind of sound generation device. We recommend a portable setup and not going bananas with the number of machines. We will be quite a few Monkeys, often performing at the same time. * BYOMixer If you plan to bring more than one device, please bring your own mixer. We will provide one mono channel per Monkey on the general mixing desk, so we ask each Monkey to give us just one mono cable (quarter inch jack). * BYOCables Bring your own quarter inch jack cables. Please bring long ones (ideally 2, one of 3 and one of 5 meters long or longer), as we will be many Monkeys and the distance from your setup to the mixing desk might be longer than expected. Please also bring your own electrical extension according to the number of machines you are bringing. * Making sound from scratch Use any sound generation device, original field recordings, or self made samples. We strongly recommend the use of original material free of copyright and kindly ask you to avoid commercial or released songs. Fresh products only. * Baking Donuts Check J Dilla’s Donuts The donut understood as a loop (8, 16, 32, 64 bars). Playing donuts and evolving them always enhances live improvised performance. Check David Lynch Donuts And, feel free to bring some real donuts and even some bananas to share. * What BPM shall we use next? Most of the time the Monkeys do not use MIDI sync, as it is not really in their nature. That does not mean they do not follow a tempo. Live improvisation loves it when a BPM is followed. * Always performing Infinite Monkeys workshops, like life, are not rehearsals. The motto: always performing, always performing. When possible, check on the PFL (on your headphones) of your mixer that what you are adding to the cauldron elevates the performance. * Let it breathe The performance time during the workshop will be long. It is always a good idea to take breaks and let your machines rest. * Always recording Any recording, photo, sound, or video is very welcome. If you have a photographer or documenter friend who would like to join the event, feel free to invite them. ♾️🐒♾️❤️

In the East London borough of Hackney, a small scene of primates began mixing in their radio live improvisations, breaks, samples, warm milk, eggs, and field recordings with lower and higher frequencies, adding more and more syncopation. These mixes eventually came to be known as Fuckedstep. It may sound surprising, but genres like Fuckedstep can be effective tools for managing anxiety. The pulsating incoherent broken rhythms provide an avenue for emotional release, allowing listeners and monkeys of all kinds, to process their feelings in a positive way. Infinite Monkeys, the first Friday of every month at Netil Radio from 9 to 11PM. Naturally colouring, live improvising, fucked-stepping, baking doughnuts, and being available for adoption. #livemusic #experimental #infinitemonkeys #musicimprovisation

Danil Alexandrov, aka Liqvitsky, a lasting member of the Infinite Monkeys collective, assembles field recordings into rhythmic patterns, wrings haphazard sounds out of loops, and draws audio signals through a tangle of randomising and mutilating effects, traversing the territory between recorded and synthetic sound. Liqvitsky refers to his output as sonic prose. Having performed with the Infinite Monkeys through the years, he will present his rendition of the Infinite Monkeys material, plus his key monkey references. Infinite Monkeys, the first Friday of every month at Netil Radio from 9 to 11PM. Naturally colouring, f****d-stepping, baking doughnuts, and being available for adoption.
