CLARO and Monkeybrains are looking for a paid intern to support Third Thursdays on Treat, our community night market and neighborhood activation series in the Mission.
This role is perfect for someone interested in community events, arts and culture, nonprofit programming, vendor coordination, and neighborhood engagement.
The intern will help with:
🎤 Managing volunteers, talent, and vendors
🎨 Developing monthly programming themes
🗓️ Supporting event planning and logistics
🤝 Helping build a welcoming community space for artists, small businesses, and neighbors
💵 Pay: $20/hour
📍 Location: Mission District / Treat Ave, San Francisco
🕒 Schedule: Part-time, event-based, with planning hours leading up to Third Thursdays
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community programming, event production, and nonprofit partnership work while helping bring people together through local arts, food, music, and culture.

Austin Antoine is a Washington DC based performance artist who blends music and poetry, with soulful vocals and introspective lyrics. He has built an artistic career through touring performances, musical collaborations.
Calvin Black is a Northern California rapper, singer, producer, and overall powerhouse artist. Calvin’s artistic endeavors have been likened to the introspective rap of the 90s blended with the sultry neo-soul vocals of the mid 00’s.
Young Ellabaker will weave in and out of genres and decades for a healthy dance party and sonic experience for all walks of life. With 13 years behind the decks, Young Ellabaker started DJing in Baltimore after college and has since become a staple in the Bay Area music scene.
