🌱 Friday was a crazy crazy night!!!!!
This event was an immersive audio visual night collaborating with artist Mairead Moore ( @maireaddoesart )! We both separately have been working on projects focussed on nostalgia and looking into childhood memories and feelings, so decided to present these projects together at a gig!
In February @slark_sam and I went on a writing expedition camping in Exmoor. It was very cold and windy but nevertheless we spent a day and a half writing two tracks each to put towards an EP.
For the gig, I set up a tent installation to introduce the Tomato EP. I invited the audience into this cosy little tent with childhood blankets and a blow up mattress to listen to the first track of the EP and to be able to hear the song in the same setting it was written in.
I am SO excited for Tomato and can’t wait to share more as we finalise bits before release :))))))
We also made and sold our first shirts!! We will be bringing these Lino printed tomato shirts to each future gig if you’re interested in picking one up 👕
Mairead presented her beautiful project featuring grass pigments and paintings. She also dyed the dress I wore on stage with grass pigments!!

And we had the lovely @isleofskeye and @lily.rainb0w supporting with gorgeous and enchanting sets
I adore organising events and we wouldn’t have been able to do this at all without the epic team that is @slark_sam on sound, @sam_.finchy@tomm_0_0@xavierjaymusic@judedhudson and @donna.n.x

Both working on projects focussed on nostalgia and childhood, they combined their seperate ventures into this immersive night featuring a gallery, tent installation and live music performances from Loula , @isleofskeye and @lily.rainb0w
