I feel that if I teach from my passion, everybody just wants to join out of enthusiasm. I never have to force anybody to join because their intrinsic motivation is triggered.
When I act and teach from my authentic self, I realize the shame of the students drops and everybody can enjoy without judgement. It's so much fun to witness everybody getting out of their head, and playing without the fear of acting silly.
I'm grateful that my deep life lessons are intertwined with my passion and work.

What happens when you don't make a plan, you trust on one another and yourself, be in the moment, build building blocks and care for each other. Yesterday we played with these principles in a contract impro acrobatic workshop I taught.
In acrobatics it happens a lot that the training is skill focused. You talk about which tricks you do and train them in a constructive way. Which is amazing and I do this often.
But I can enjoy movement the most if I can get out of my head and enter "the zone". Alone or with people through (contact) dance and acrobatics. If I move into this zone and trust myself and the process and drop judgement, new creative possibilities arise without planning and I can move in a way which feels healthy for my body and soul. And it just feels so good and fun!
I do find it easier to get into this zone alone and it's my journey to get into this zone together more and to facilitate people into getting there. Let's drop judgement together and ease into the moment.

Lately I've been fantasizing more about life in the medieval times🏰. It's so fascinating for me to imagine how people lived back then. Having only the physical reality (and no electrical devices) to experience and live. Danger lurking around every corner, learning a skill 🪓 straight from a master if you were lucky and only imagination about how the other side of the world looks like.
❔Which part of the medieval times would you like to invite more in the modern times❔
For me I think it would simply be the rural life on the streets since there was no TV/phone capture peoples brains. Or the natural way of building which keeps me more grounded than the square impersonal buildings most people live in. Can't choose 🙃.
When I was walking the streets of this amazing castle city Erice in Sicily I was in, my imagination got triggered. But I think that just finishing the amazing fantasy book 'The name of the wind' from Patrick Rothfuss also had something to do with it.
