A year ago today, I lost my dad. He was my best friend, my teacher, and so much more than words can hold.😢
I’ll never forget being in Ecuador and getting that morning call that he had passed. I carried so much regret for not coming home one day earlier—I missed him by just a day. He passed way on April 1st at 6am peacefully in his sleep, and I arrived back on the 2nd.🕊️
But instead of staying in that pain, I’m choosing to hold onto the gifts he gave me—his love for travel, his laughter, his deep love. If he had never taken that trip to Colombia and walked into the hotel where my mom was working, I wouldn’t even be here.✈️🙏
Today marks a year since he was finally free from the pain of dementia, from losing his ability to walk, and from the loss of the freedom he cherished so much. Traveling meant everything to him. We dreamed of one last trip together—to Europe or South America—but now I feel him with me everywhere I go.
Last year, the day he passed, white butterflies surrounded me on the beach💟..And this year, I’ve been seeing rainbows everywhere I go. I feel you. I see you.

Cacao Making & Tasting Workshop Success! 🌿🍫 At @elpitalparadise we began by breaking open the cacao pods to reveal the sweet beans inside. Then we fermented, dried, and roasted them over fire 🔥 before grinding them into a thick, smooth paste…transforming them into real, rich cacao.
Working with Mother Cacao was truly special 💫..bringing calm, connection, and warmth ❤️. Packed with nutrients and antioxidants 🌱, experiencing the process from pod to paste made every sip and taste feel so much more meaningful! ✨ @neaturegyal
First week in Nicaragua (my 4th time!) and it truly never gets old 🏄♀️☀️. Explored new areas like El Tránsito and Popoyo this trip—and I’m completely in love.
This country never misses: amazing food, the best vibes, yoga, and always new tidal pools to discover. And Popoyo delivered some of the longest waves I’ve ever ridden 🙌
