📍 Originally from Harlem but currently reside in the Kansas City area ✨
🎶 Used to write songs & poetry before coaching entrepreneurs and Speaking

🤷🏾♀️I can probably out-skate you at the rink 😏 (okay maybe not out skate but I roll forwards and backwards without a problem!)

You’ve been booked to be interviewed on a TV segment, congratulations! 🥳🙌🏾
Here are 4 crucial things you must do next:
1️⃣ Choose your camera ready outfit that makes you look & feel your best. Make sure you're comfortable, as in not tugging, pulling, or pushing things into place. Don't fidget.
2️⃣ Practice your talking points‼️Bonus if you record yourself and watch it back 😉
3️⃣ Know exactly where you want to send people to “get more info” about you. A vanity URL works well - something easy, catchy, and not likely to get misspelled.
4️⃣ Pray, breathe deeply, reaffirm yourself, and have fun! 🥳 Remember, you deserve this and are worthy to let your brilliance be known.

This is a reminder to give yourself a CHANCE.
Real Talk: I almost talked myself out of my first international speaking engagement. Why? Because it felt BIG. Almost too BIG for me.
Then I had to remind myself who I am but moreso WHOSE I Am 🙌🏾
So I went for it anyway!
And a few months later, I successfully had my first international speaking engagement in Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦.
It was definitely a defining moment for me but I'm here to encourage you! Don't stay hidden on the sidelines because of fear or doubt or you'll miss opportunities for growth!
Flex your faith muscles boo 💪🏾! It might be the thing that changes everything ✨️
If someone discovers you today from a Media interview, what is the ONE thing you want them to go?
🗣ONE THING. And yes, I'm yelling today.
I see this all the time:
“Follow me on IG”
“Connect with me on LinkedIn”
“Subscribe to my YouTube”
“Join my email list”
LISTEN… that’s too 👏🏽 many 👏🏽 instructions.
When people are given too many options, they get overwhelmed and do nothing.
Your audience should have ONE clear next step when they want to learn more about you.
Because visibility is great but conversion is even better 🤌🏾
Give people one job.
Make it easy to say yes to you.

I went back to Harlem… and it humbled me in a way I didn’t expect.
I stood outside the building where I grew up — a small studio apartment, raised by a single mom who always found a way to make a dollar out of 15 cents. If you know, YOU KNOW.
What we didn’t have in “things,” we had in exposure...
To people. To stories. To culture. To POSSIBILITY.
That environment didn’t limit me… it built me💪🏾.
It’s where my voice was born.
It’s where my love for storytelling, expression, and entrepreneurship began — before I even had the language for it.
And now, I get to help other entrepreneurs step into their voice, own their story, and be seen on bigger stages.
A full circle moment I don’t take lightly 🥹.
