Last week I was deeply honored to be recognized by Commissioner Pam Beasley-Pittman and the City of Fort Lauderdale in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Aviation has provided me the opportunity to ensure others can see themselves in this industry, and to develop real pathways that allow young people to enter, grow, and lead within it.
This recognition is incredibly meaningful because it reflects the collective work happening across our community to expand access, open doors, and build a more inclusive future for aerospace.
I have always believed that representation matters and access changes lives. When we intentionally create exposure, mentorship, and genuine opportunity, we don’t just change individual trajectories — we strengthen the entire industry.
Thank you to Commissioner Beasley-Pittman and the City of Fort Lauderdale for shining a light on this work during Women’s History Month. I am grateful to stand alongside those who are shaping what is possible, and remain committed to building pathways for the next generation of leaders in aviation. ✈️

Today I am thinking about the incredible women whose strength and love shaped my journey, especially my beautiful mother.
Even in her passing, she continues to motivate me every single day to be my best self. Her example reminds me that the most meaningful success comes from pouring into others and making a lasting difference in the communities around us.
The work I am so passionate about —creating access, building pathways, and helping others see what is possible — is rooted in the values she instilled in me. Her spirit lives on in every opportunity we create for someone else to rise.
Today I celebrate her, and all the women whose courage, sacrifice, and wisdom laid the foundation for us to stand taller.

Reflecting on My Journey with Leadership Brevard ✨
Completing the Leadership Brevard program has been a transformative experience in my professional and personal life.
I had the privilege of learning alongside a diverse and passionate group of leaders, each committed to making a meaningful difference in our community. This journey wasn’t just about personal growth—it was about understanding the challenges and opportunities within Brevard County and discovering how we, as leaders, can create real impact together.
Leadership Brevard challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, listen more deeply, collaborate more effectively, and to continue to lead with purpose. It sharpened my awareness of the systemic issues our community faces and gave me the tools—and the network—to be part of the solution.
The connections I’ve made, the projects we’ve tackled, and the insights I’ve gained will stay with me forever. I’m incredibly grateful to LEAD Brevard for facilitating such a powerful experience and for cultivating a network of leaders who are truly invested in building a stronger, more vibrant future for all.
As I move forward as the newly elected Board Chairman, I do so with renewed commitment, a broader perspective, and a deep sense of responsibility to serve. This is just the beginning.
