Alexander Cheves (@badalexcheves ) is a writer, columnist, and an engaged member of Berlin’s queer community. We’re excited to welcome him to the next Mongay at Kino International.
To underline the intellectual depth of the evening, he’ll be reading his texts naked.
Pink Narcissus, a legendary and highly influential work of queer cinema, follows right after.
The performance runs 20 minutes, followed by the film (approx. 60 min). The evening will be in English.

Next MonGAY we are diving deep into gay relationships. Love means also work, something only few films dare to show and we are super happy to get the chance to reflect on that with the movie WAS WIR GEMEINSAM SCHUFEN (Lo que escribimos juntos) by Nicolás Teté (@nicotete )
We are also very happy to showcase another queer story from Argentina, especially at a time when queer productions are becoming more rare.
The movie will be shown at Babylon Kreuzberg, following MonGAY, in the original Argentinian version with German subtitles.
