PART 1 of 2: It’s been a while since I’ve posted new work. I’ve had the pleasure of doing my first ever exclusive IN THE WILD for a lovely family in Venice.
In these extremely complex and complicated times, something that has always grounded me through the ebbs and flows is coming back to my work.
So with these pieces I’m feeling a little extra grateful. Not only was I commissioned to produce two pieces for this beautiful home, these clients allowed me to create something that felt good for them while also encouraging and entrusting me to follow my own lead in the process of paint and discovery.
This series takes a lot of time, planning, pivots and adventure (I have a few stories for the making of, lol). But mostly it’s one of the few times in my life I feel truly free.
This is my favorite piece yet. Because in a time where I needed it the most, I got to play. This piece was photographed in the desert and that final print is coming up in another post.
